Tom "the turtle" Herman [Lame Duck or greatest 5d chess player ever?]
Which game did we win this year that we care about? Because both OU and LSU were not very close at the end of the day, and we’ve had multiple shitty games against bad opponents.

If Orlando coaches another game this year, it’s just another sign that Mensa has no accountability. We lost this game because we never adjusted in the 2nd half, and his desire to call 3 down linemen and cover with the MASH unit DBs again is unbelievable.

Good thing we extended this clown to 2023.

Sam Ehlinger
Sam will end up breaking a lot of Colt’s records, but he will never be near Colt’s actual level of play.

Texas at TCU - 2:30 on FOX: Because what else were you going to do with your Saturday?
We didn’t up Herman did we? Because we need to clear the entire coaching staff.

Don’t worry, Sam is going to get yards and TDs when we are down by 21 to barely lose by 7!

Sam’s going to break all of Colt’s records, but he’s nowhere near McCoy.

Game cements we need a new OC, DC, and DB coaches. Great job assembling this staff, Mensa.

Fuck this conference and fuck these refs. Every fucking game

It’s not who is a better DC at this point, but having a DC who will actually simplify the defense by just playing man with one or two safety high and allowing the defense to react instead of thinking about Laplace transformations and zone blitzes would make a huge difference. The obvious examples are Robinson post Diaz and OU last year post Stoops.

Ok Tom, We'll Talk about Kansas Game, Oct 19th 6pm cst LHN
Herman needs to decide if he values loyalty or being the HC at Texas more because those two things are diametrically opposed are the moment. Orlando and Warehime at minimum need to be fired after year, or else we’ll be stuck in the same mediocre cycle.

Zone blitzing when it hasn’t worked all game is unbelievable.

Eliud Kipchoge runs the world’s first sub-2 hour marathon
Slightly different, but the women's record for the marathon was broken this weekend as well (and this time officially): https://www.npr.org/2019/10/13/769917804/kenyan-brigid-kosgei-smashes-womens-world-record-at-chicago-marathon Pretty crazy that it happened on the same weekend!

2019 NBA Offseason Thread -- Trades, Free Agents, Firings, Retirements, Etc
You can understand that it's bad for their bottom line and also criticize them for being hypocrites about it as well, especially when Lebron's statement sounds like the CPC wrote it. It's pretty damn simple that people don't like it when China's influence gets to the point that a fairly innocuous tweet turns into an international controversy.

MNF: Lions @ Packers
These refs are out of control. We need to actually have some punishment for them as it’s getting to the point that it is ruining the games.

Fallout 76
Biggest thing for me, and why I've taken a break after finishing the last mission, is just the stability of the game. Sometimes it can still be pretty rough. All that said, the last things I did was the Fasnacht event as it was probably the way the game was meant to be played. Doing the short event and also doing the later big boss (though, I think that was a different event) was really fun and brought the entire server into the same spot. I'll definitely be back for Wastelanders though. The game has some great ideas, but can also be frustrating at certain points (e.g. the guy who quit at the last mission when being swarmed - had a similar experience where the game crashed right before I launched the nuke. Thankfully, BGSA responded back to my e-mail pretty quick and was re-motivated to do it.)

We'll see if they actually made it. Got Shadowkeep, so I'll be starting that today

War Eagle @ aggy - 2:30p CDT on CBS
Two games against top 10 teams and they have barely had a pulse in either. Not a good sign for next season!

Looks like Harbaugh’s ceiling is 10 wins and a loss to OSU every year. Better than Rich Rod and Hoke, but that’s a tough place to be in

He started off hot last year too then it really tapered off.

Week 2 NFL games
31 of 32 teams voted for it with the Bengals being the only against it.

MNF DH: Texans @ Saints/Broncos @ Raiders
Houston's DBs were not good enough to jam the Saints at the LOS, so they are damned if they do and damned if they don't. It's why Brees lined up so early so he could identify what coverage/press they were doing. It looks bad on the film as it was wide open, but the Texans were screwed once the Saints got it to midfield with time for a play + FG. They weren't able to stop the short passing game in the second half.
