  1. OU has proven that they can win in such bullshit circumstances the past two weeks that I don’t think it matters. They’ll win, go to the playoffs and get wrecked. Frustrating as they win the conference all the time as other teams continuously shit the bed against them
  2. Is there a bigger loser school in any rivalry than OSU? Their record is putrid.
  3. Wonder what happened to all the OU fans who thought it was just the DC that made the defense a mess.
  4. Two games in and it already feels like a lost season.
  5. Are we going to score another FG in this game?
  6. Reid is such a piece of shit. I’d be surprised if he gets a contract next year
  7. Garrett has to be done, right? Their offense is so, so limited.
  8. Of course the Pats get the 15 instead of the 5 yard penalty.
  9. Im surprised they didn’t run it with Gurley on either 3rd or 4th down.
  10. I don’t understand how the Rams haven’t had a hold called against them. Their RT is choking Cameron Jordan every play and they literally tackled the DT on the screen.
  11. While I can see why you’d have hesitations, how many of the big passing plays were targeting Wheeler? This defense doesn’t given him that much coverage responsibility. On the flip side, he’s crucial to our run defense due to the way the DL’s are taught to occupy gaps.
  12. Huge call. Wonder if they called him down as his shin was down first?
  13. Praising Kupp for his blocking while he’s holding is a bit hilarious.
  14. You should be more excited for Adeoye
  15. OU’s defense is still so soft despite the change at DC
  16. Iowa State was able to use it’s DL to funnel the RBs to the LBs. Our DL does a decent job of that, but the LBs have been pretty poor, especially Wheeler. Locke has moved from someone who also can set the edge to a liability as he can’t cover and his tackling is poor. Also, I don’t know why Orlando keeps on calling so many 3 men rushes. Our DL is not good enough to generate pressure, and our secondary isn’t good enough or disciplined enough to cover that long.
  17. I want to believe, but every team seems to choke against OU in a game that matters.
  18. Back to back weeks where they defense looked completely inept. Orlando needs to decide if he wants to stick with Seniors that have no idea what they're doing (Wheeler) or simply aren't good enough (Locke) or else it'll be another easy wins for other teams. Just embarrassing with the team being pissed WVU danced on the logo. Want to prevent them for dancing? Fucking hit someone during the game and stop them
  19. I don’t understand how LSU is ahead of an undefeated Notre Dame.
  20. I know it hasn’t been the toughest of schedules, but Carroll being undefeated under Riley is pretty impressive. Perhaps he’s the fresh blood the program needed after Wasson.
  21. Except in a model this wide, there will always be teams that exceed their predictions based on what the selected inputs are. The obvious issue with this specific model is it only looks at the end of game stats and not necessarily the game situations (the obvious example is OU). It’s a good model, but seeing people take it as gospel is what rubs a lot of people the wrong way. It’s decent as a predictor, but note that Bill uses the opening lines and not those closer towards the end of the week. Last I checked on Todd Beck’s prediction tracker, it’s behind FPI and Saragon. I think it gets its infallibility from Bill having a great podcast (PAPN) and a lot of the blogs in CFB coming from SBNations platform which obviously would push it.
  22. Should we point to S&P+ whenever Texas knocks off OU? Or USC? or TCU? Seems like the whole SBNation gang is down to do pop shots whenever that happens, but how about their predictions for App State/Georgia Southern, Miami/BC, etc etc?
  23. I think 90% of the board would have dreamed of that record after Maryland. He's proven he's a good coach, as has Orlando even with his fuck-ups.
  24. Two cracks at it is going to better than none had they actually called the penalty. And the reason why it's so frustrating is that it's so clearly against the rules. It's absolutely a simulated snap, which should automatically be a flag, but the guard also moved. For them to call it on Texas is just a complete disgrace. I've seen C-USA reffing almost every week with UTEP, and even those guys are better than the people we have in the Big XII.
  25. Except that play is absolutely critical. It directly lead to an OSU TD and prevented Texas from getting the ball back with more than a minute to play at the end of the half. To ignore how important it was is absurd, particularly given how well the team played in the second half.
