  1. Waiting for Ja’s statement next /s A great statement though.
  2. Another one and it’s heartbreaking.
  3. It is insane that this is popping up in colleges in the West. I get the support for Palestinians as a whole, but there is a disgusting amount of glorification of terrorism going on.
  4. Well, it is the recommendation for now from the IDF.
  5. Doesn’t have to be out of Gaza - earlier, Israel was redirecting people out of Gaza City to other portions of the strip.
  6. Highly doubt that as Egypt won’t allow it - the Palestinians in other countries have done incredible damage (eg Lebanon and Jordan’s civil wars, the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt) which makes it extremely difficult for other Arabian countries to take them in. if there is a country that should take them it, it should be Qatar as they love to fund the violence.
  7. It all depends on whether Israel opens up humanitarian corridors or if they are truly going medieval with the siege. That being said, it’s unbelievably complex as Hamas is using civilian locales as places to store arms - the secondary explosions at a mosque and at an university prove that. Hamas is essentially trying to use the population as a shield or suicide bomb, which only moreso emphasizes the need to completely remove them from Gaza and the world. Getting there is going to be extremely tricky and we can only hope that Israel isn’t going with the “destroy everything and everyone.”
  8. We already have multiple people in the west celebrating the capture, rape and execution of women; the capture and execution of children and the elderly; and beheading IDF soldiers in the name of de-colonization ala Fanon’s theory. Israel and the IDF have their own issues, but seeing people celebrate brazen terrorist is pretty shocking.
  9. Considering the tensions in the far east as well, it’s like the 1950s came back.
  10. View from Gaza City tonight As a note, the third video definitely looks to be a fake.
  11. The issue is that Hamas has and is going to use the general population as shields. It’s a brutal choice for Israel as to trying root out Hamas is either going to amount to genocide via leveling the city, going door to door in brutal combat, and creating a massive refugee crisis in which the other Arab states will be hesitant to take on the refugees (though they should send them to Qatar based on their funding of Hamas and terrorism). We’ll see how Israel does it.
  12. That was legit - you can’t hit the kickers leg in the air unless you block it.
  13. Seriously - the D played bad, but you are a fucking moron if you think a blatant hold on a chunk play and a phantom PI being called didn’t affect it.
  14. Refs won this for OU. Unbelievable that we get a better game called at Ala-fucking-bama
  15. The big XII still wants OU to win. Unfucking believable.
  16. The issue about all these models is that they are generally on a per play basis and the limited amount of data that football games produce. It’s not like baseball or basketball where there’s quite a few data points. That said, OU is the default fraud team from those ratings as they have had a joke of a schedule but has performed pretty well. They’ll drop like a rock when they face actual completion (ie look at their defensive rating this week versus last week). they are no different than the Mizzou or Ole Miss of years past that blitz a shit OOC schedule and then drop once they play teams with a pulse.
  17. Slightly different stopping Alabama than the Little Sisters of the Poor.
  18. Always seems like these refs find one to bail out Mahomes
  19. One of the keys for this game is whether each team has faced an equivalent or better unit yet. For Texas, outside of QB and maybe LB, the answer is undoubtably yes. For OU, the answer is no outside of special teams. Given how OU coached last year against teams with similar or more talent, that’s a huge advantage.
