  1. They are cracking down on it, and you just aren't supposed to clap anymore. Certain words are also reserved for the offense (and other words always allowed for the defense).
  2. This did not help Auburn.
  3. The past 5 quarters ... less the last 1. We really haven't put a complete game together. We feel like the team that needs another week/month/year still. There's a top 10 team in there somewhere, I'm sure, it just doesn't always show. We are definitely trending the right direction over the season.
  4. I'd have Notre Dame above us. We have the better schedule so far, but they've handled business better. Georgia Tech is actually not a great team for those who haven't watched. Great for who they are, certainly. I'd rank them for handling what they have on the schedule, but they are probably a bubble top 25 if they played a good schedule.
  5. This as well. And, honestly, if I were staying a couple extra days and making it a mini-cation I'd do Chattanooga and bite the 3 hr drive.
  6. Seems like every time we play in GA, I go out of town. I'm flying out next Thursday so will wave to you guys who come in early. Aquarium is legit. Coca-cola museum right next door I've never actually been to, but it'salways packed. Foxx Bros is the only decent BBQ you'll find in the state, but it's honestly skippable if you are from Texas.
  7. I think Indiana is a good team but have as little confidence as possible in that. It's hard to make sense of where Oregon or Iowa sit and the other games are useless. In general, it is hard to compare between the P2 conferences. There's one data point in TX-OSU and even that is hard to make sense of because the OSU defense has been wildly inconsistent, and Texas has improved on offense. There's a decent chance for Tech, North Texas, and aggy to all make the playoffs this year. I saw a metric to compare football teams and conferences across years that had SEC 2025 as the strongest conference since the 70s Big 8. That actually seems accurate.
  8. RJ Young is a dirty sooner, but even his top gripe with the rankings is having OU over Texas.
  9. It was non-conf. I remember that and how no one in the media mentioned it at all. It was wild. #23 for OU casually walks off with the ball and everyone is looking at the pile:
  10. Mateer looked the same as always. He tries to play hero ball and throws risky passes. It's what he does.
  11. I don't trust hot G5 Texas schools. It's too easy to get and ride a talent advantage.
  12. I was wrong on the game thread. I said it looked like Mosley gave a push live, but he was actually him knocking the DB's hold off of him. (Wax off style)
  13. To add some objective analysis to this (from my model). Tech has played the 49th schedule to date and 52nd thru the end of season. Virginia 54th and 58th respectively. Georgia Tech, Louisville are both worse to date, though (but finish better).
  14. Both Guilbeau and the Derek were out of position that play. It was a non-traditional Tampa, Derek was supposed to have that deep half.
  15. When Wingo runs it off of orbit motion, Arch has to throw it out front in order to avoid a backwards pass. Seen this several times, so I think they are just okay with how it is.
  16. No one has mentioned the screen game worked early and often. Probably half those passing yards are screens.
  17. Is it possible to root against Tenn without rooting for OU?
  18. TBF, what did Hitler ever do to you?
  19. This. Completely missed the read.
  20. There's not a big enough gap for the ball to hit ground.
  21. WR says to run it back. ...and he's right it seems.
  22. He was yelling at mac.
  23. Scored too quickly.
  24. It's def not a fumble.
  25. This is why Bama was left out for SMU last year. SMU lost a P4 non-conf and in the CCG.
