  1. We control our fate now if anyone was wondering.
  2. Let's step it up in the 2nd half. Owens needs snaps.
  3. I know two veterans on disability pay. One lives with his parents again because he has to and deserves every bit of what he gets. The other deserves something but milks the system as hard as possible, lies to increase his disability, actively tries to lose jobs that he complains about being forced to get.
  4. So looking at the first few: Claiming Trump has a quid-pro-quo with Russia is not left-wing progoganda/disinformation? Defamation part of the 4th one is ongoing still. "Trump linked to porn-linked bank" not left-wing disinformarion?
  5. EJ Carroll was the only one dismissed I can find.
  6. After looking his WAPO/NYT lawsuit is still active also. Which case even was dismissed?
  7. He didn't lose to ABC or MSNBC, but they will probably settle.
  8. We know why. I was explaining the employer side of things. You can't just fire someone for talking with an accent and going by Pepe when his ID says his name is George. There are already immigration and enforcement databases that the don't let employers verify with. It's not like law enforcement or ICE have issues with this.
  9. E-Verify matches the TIN/SSN with the name and that's about it. National Photo ID would help because E-verify does face-matching, but not often. The most effective thing in my experience to get rid of an illegal worker is to send them to a project in Arizona.
  10. I'm telling you that employers don't have the tools to enforce this. It'd be impractical to make it a strict liability law and ineffective otherwise.
  11. It's mandatory to do business on a lot of state contracts. And it's an all-in thing. You have to use it on every employee or none at all. If I had to guess more employers get fines for using E-Verify incorrectly than do for hiring illegally.
  12. It's certainly better, but you can't use it to screen employees. Then, there's such a lengthy appeals process that illegals game it.
  13. In practice, there is fuck all you can do if someone passes their I-9.
  14. "You play to win the game." -Herm Edwards
  15. I said this earlier, but taking an adversarial interview or townhall is the best way to do this. Being afraid to have your ideas confronted is not a way to win an election.
  16. I support the sentiment of this thread, but it never lasts. There's a handful of posters glaringly missing from this board right now, and an influx of non-partisan posters that make the discussion tolerable right now. But it won't last. The 24/7 news cycle will run out of actual things to discuss, and the only people who will care enough on a regular basis to post are the extreme partisans. This is just the way things are.
  17. I can't find exit polling data, but there's a lot of young Hispanics.
  18. Without looking guess the margin of the final RCP composite and who is ahead.
  19. Bear in mind that Piker thinks if you believe in private property that you are alt-right.
  20. Nah. It's a purely partisan thing. She could have done Rogan or even WSJ and had good interviews. She did CNN, The View, and 60 minutes. She gets credit for Bret Baiar but that didn't go well.
  21. Honestly, I think having a friendly media actually hurt Kamala. She had very few opportunities to parse out policy positions and answer tough questions.
  22. Because guys like Pinker, Haidt, Sam Harris and Eric Weinstein are anti-intellectual and far right?
  23. Not in the actual election. My original post did say the popular vote was not expected.
  24. I don't think anyone wins from the position Kamala was handed. It was 21-0 in the 1Q before the starter was pulled.
