  1. I guess I'm too late to say this now, but DeBoer makes the least sense. He has no recruiting ties to the southeast nor any staff connections that do. He'd need a lot of help to get up and running and a lot of help to hire the people who could make that happen.
  2. With Wilks leaving the 49ers, Kris Kocurek would be my first call.
  3. His NFL value would be a lot higher with a good year at CB. Safeties and nickels are like the RBs of the defense.
  4. There is like a 5 yards downfield limit to it and the tacklebox has to be intact, which I think were both true.
  5. Pretty fair analysis. I think they got the fumble call right. Yeah. I didn't understand this getting picked up at all You generally get a warning the first time you line up in the neutral zone. Didn't rewatch the low block call, but it's not a penalty on a player originating in the tackle box. I thought he cut a pulling lineman? Which is very much a legal play.
  6. This. 6 yards to go gives a lot more opportunity for crossing routes, picks, front pylon stuff. Plus Blue vs an ILB and great blockers on a passive secondary; he might just get in. It wasn't a bad call.
  7. Pretty sure the play they called a timeout out of was read option. They ran it from the same set and motion earlier.
  8. Why did Harbaugh kneel then take a timeout?
  9. I learned something new today: "Here is how platforms die: first, they are good to their users; then they abuse their users to make things better for their business customers; finally, they abuse those business customers to claw back all the value for themselves. Then, they die. I call this enshittification, and it is a seemingly inevitable consequence arising from the combination of the ease of changing how a platform allocates value, combined with the nature of a "two sided market", where a platform sits between buyers and sellers, hold each hostage to the other, raking off an ever-larger share of the value that passes between them."
  10. With 2 1-loss teams in the playoff, FSU was in a decent position to have an Alabama-esque title claim if they won. That's the real tragedy.
  11. Too bad FSU didn't want to be here. Could have been a good game.
  12. In that regard, the underdog always get more talk. "What does X have to do to beat Y?" "If X can BLANK, they can make it a game." It's been the same commentary before all of our games this year.
  13. Arnold is Arizona's entire offense. 18pts off interceptions.
  14. OU keeps zone blitzing and it keeps not working.
  15. That should be targeting on Stogner, maybe both of them on replay.
