  1. You aren't posting the odds that you think you are. Those would imply UGA has a ~30% chance to make the playoffs.
  2. The fun thing about these odds machines is that the maker has to input who would be taken in the "tie scenarios" anyhow. Posting them to "prove" one team will be favored in a virtual tie is actually useless.
  3. I fully understand. I actually have my own. Look at Auburn's resume yourself. Is #33 reasonable? #33 generally means you have a decent chance to upset a top team. What are their odds against Bama, two scores? The people with money on the line don't agree.
  4. Look at what you just posted. Massey has Auburn #33. They just got dominated by his #89 team. Please.
  5. That group as a whole only has 5 P5 wins. 2 are against each other, 2 are against Florida, and 1 is against Vandy.
  6. Look at Bama's schedule. Wyoming is better than: MTSU, USF, MSU, Arkansas, Kentucky, Chattanooga, and Auburn.
  7. I really want to see Iowa vs USC in a bowl game.
  8. To put the schedules into prespective: Wyoming would be Bama's 6th most difficult game. The resumes aren't even close. It's not even really a debate.
  9. Everyone needs to accept these two statements as absolute truth before posting.
  10. It's easier to see the flaw when you draw that Scenario B up like this: A > B > C > A : Tie A > D, C > D, B < D : Common opponent C > A > D : Sub tie breaker head-to-head A > B > C > A : Next tiebreaker is same as tie scenario. C > B : Seeding ----- Vs Scenario A A > B > C > A : Tie A > D, C > D, B < D : Common opponent C > A > D : Seeding
  11. Scenario B honestly makes no sense. It'd be extremely awkward to win the tiebreaker the first time around only to lose it later for the same reason there was a tie to begin with.

    Fuck Big 12 refs

I really think the halftime chatter on social media affected how they called the second half. Lots of sports guys were pointing out the questionable calls. As much as Fox caught crap for downplaying it, every single time they back from commercial they talked about the penalty discrepancy and mentioned the TDs called back by penalty. It's so much harder to hide from flags thrown than flags not thrown.
  13. The other interpretation is that the "vs common opponents" section gets run through all the way and seeds: OSU #3 loss to ISU, who was beaten by both OU and TX and Texas gets seeded #1 for win vs KU who beat OU. There is no jumping around sections at that point.
  14. The SEC has never been this bad before. They are barely above the ACC this year. Both teams also avoided the better cross-division teams. Bama's SoS, even figuring the UGA game is in the bottom half (near bottom of P5). UGA's might as well be a C-USA schedule.
  15. ^^^Tx/OU matchup. Both TX and OU beat ISU. Once there's two teams tied, you don't run the scenario over. The h2h winner becomes #1 seed and other team becomes #2 seed.
  16. DMN says this results in TX/OSU matchup (win percentage over common opponents). Says B12 has confirmed Texas hasn't clinched but they can't explain how not.

    Fuck Big 12 refs

Hell, they reviewed a spot and moved the ball 4 yards.
  18. We are playing cover 2 (2-Read) the majority of snaps the last few games. I don't have a breakdown, that just an educated guess. The way alignment is taught in the spread era is that every coverage has a default leverage and a reference point on the field. If your WR gets too far from the reference point, you start cheating your default leverage. For example, in cover 2 your default leverage may be outside shoulder and the reference point the top of the numbers. If the WR is like 5 yards inside the numbers, you might shift 1 yard outside his frame and for midpoint of sideline and numbers, you might be kn the inside eye.
  19. ^^^ You want the play that Gbenda made on the slant. Makes them increasingly dangerous to call while not opening up the sluggo.
  20. They need to do RPI in place of the common opponent step. Easy to calculate, understood, been around for a while. Rare chance of a next step.
  21. Correct I think they need Tech to beat Texas. So they would need the top 4 to all get upset to win in a tiebreaker.
