    Fuck Big 12 refs

It's not hard. The linesman doesn't actually try to determine where it goes out of bounds, he'll walk up the sideline until the referee (who stands right behind the punter) signals that the linesman is directly inline with the direction of the punt. So you basically have one referee setting the line of the boundary and one setting the line of the punt and they just make the two lines intersect.
  2. Houston and BYU would be a -0.5 or EVEN game. They both suck. Apparently we can play our worst game and beat Houston. Let's not do it again.
  3. Yes. We've had this same discussion before. He is never going to abandon inside zone. Most of his downfield RPO and PA atrack is built around it. He's gonna be fine with teams overplaying it if it leaves Sanders wide open or we can get 20 yards off a simple screen pass.
  4. He's at 9 YPA stop making stuff up.
  5. I believe he was 19-22 when he took the hit. So 4-7 after, which still isn't bad but you could tell he wasn't carrying himself the same way.
  6. When we aren't getting pressure our secondary really struggles.
  7. They get to pick the hash though. That's the point.
  8. Why run that play left when the passer is right handed?
  9. Costly penalty. Kinda have to call that one though.
  10. This. Stop rooting for OU thinking it helps us because it don't make a single shit. The math on this is easy: We win out, we're in. We don't, we're not.
  11. I pretty sure that's why we had Play #8 drawn up for Kirby.
  12. Charged words like "open air prison," "genocide," "aparteid state," "anti-semitism" are huge clues that the person speaking has no idea what they are actually talking about.
  13. And a big 4th down stop at the 10. Rice is in the driver's seat.
  14. Nerds are up 7-0 off an interception and 50-yard run. Juked the safety bad.
  15. Jamaal Charles holds the all-time YPC record. Pretty underutilized during his career despite playing 9 years. If Priest's career didn't end with a bunch of injuries, he'd be in already.
  16. This is OSU's third artificial field: 2005, 2014, and last year.
  17. Lightly-used grass is generally cheaper longterm because you have to replace the artificial carpet every 5-10 years. HOWEVER, the main economic benefit of artificial turf is that you can have more events (quantity and variety) on it, in any weather or time of day, with essentially no additional cost. So if you can get paid for more events (professional stadiums) or want a heavy-use multifunctional field (high school), having an artificial turf field is better. Basically, one AT field can replace several natural turf ones. EDIT: Note that heavily-used grass (where you are doing constant repairs) is much more expensive.
  18. Texas 45 Other 17 350 passing These games are crapshoots because it's always somewhere between what a team could do and what they choose to do.
  19. Shutting down computer for work. "I wonder if the game has started." Checks phone:
  20. He said they got the ball into the opponent's territory.
