Texas down to #7 - It's not at all comforting that the model kept us #1 in power. We actually pulled away from Michigan a bit, who had a really good game against Minnesota.
The explanation is this: our defense struggled against OU so our defensive rating fell a bit, our offense vs their defense the model saw as a wash, but the defensive teams that we've played continue to play well and that is reinforcing how good our offense is in the model's eyes (Wyoming beat Fresno and held them to 19, Alabama beat A&M and held them to 20. So we actually moved up a bit.
Georgia right behind us at #8 finally playing a decent team, and they actually looked like a good team this week.
Alabama #11 - offense is holding them out of the top 10, and it's not actually getting better, it's just that the defenses they play are getting worse. Note that the offense moves up to #35 if you only count the games under Milroe, but they would still be #11 overall.
Kansas shows back up at #25.
