  1. This. Stop rooting for OU thinking it helps us because it don't make a single shit. The math on this is easy: We win out, we're in. We don't, we're not.
  2. I pretty sure that's why we had Play #8 drawn up for Kirby.
  3. Charged words like "open air prison," "genocide," "aparteid state," "anti-semitism" are huge clues that the person speaking has no idea what they are actually talking about.
  4. And a big 4th down stop at the 10. Rice is in the driver's seat.
  5. Nerds are up 7-0 off an interception and 50-yard run. Juked the safety bad.
  6. Jamaal Charles holds the all-time YPC record. Pretty underutilized during his career despite playing 9 years. If Priest's career didn't end with a bunch of injuries, he'd be in already.
  7. This is OSU's third artificial field: 2005, 2014, and last year.
  8. Lightly-used grass is generally cheaper longterm because you have to replace the artificial carpet every 5-10 years. HOWEVER, the main economic benefit of artificial turf is that you can have more events (quantity and variety) on it, in any weather or time of day, with essentially no additional cost. So if you can get paid for more events (professional stadiums) or want a heavy-use multifunctional field (high school), having an artificial turf field is better. Basically, one AT field can replace several natural turf ones. EDIT: Note that heavily-used grass (where you are doing constant repairs) is much more expensive.
  9. Texas 45 Other 17 350 passing These games are crapshoots because it's always somewhere between what a team could do and what they choose to do.
  10. His before and after is mind-blowing:
  11. Shutting down computer for work. "I wonder if the game has started." Checks phone:
  12. He said they got the ball into the opponent's territory.
  13. Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Nebraska. Which is one of the reasons I am not loving doing pods or something similar in the move to SEC. It's better than divisions, but still gives consistent schedule advantages and disadvantages.
  14. Yes. They are doing a divisionless schedule with rivalries protected. The weird thing about it is schools have anywhere from 0 to 3 protected games.
  15. Rojo was a big factor in the red zone last year as well. The guy just managed to get the hardest yards.
  16. Agreed. The Big12 would have ended up waiting for more teams to leave, not more teams to get added. I think we were heading into a scenario where only one of the Pac/Big XII were going to survive.
  17. So there's no way we score 50 but you are predicting a 6 TD performance?
  18. They are of low quality. We are probably victorious in a way that leaves no margin of doubt as to who is the superior team.
  19. Basements are not counted in the official square footage.
  20. Notable things: 1) There are no SEC teams in the top 10 of power ratings. Maybe the first time ever. 2) Iowa and LSU are the only ranked teams with units in the bottom half (the Iowa offense and the LSU defense). 3) The B1G East teams have better odds to make the playoff than to win their division. The Big 12 is the least likely to send a team, but it's basically even with the PAC and SEC. 4) Liberty and Georgia play about the same schedule in terms of difficulty. At this point, Liberty is slightly more likely to go undefeated. 5) Oklahoma is the most likely undefeated team. 6) No teams actually project to finish undefeated. There's still a lot of season left.
  21. LSU being ranked feels like an inside joke that I'm not in on.
  22. JBJ

    Fuck Big 12 refs

There isn't one. They just don't call it against Texas opponents.
  23. Good game. Great ending.
  24. Oh wow.
