  1. Depends on the structure but generally no the way you are using the term. For example, River Oaks doesn't pay property taxes.
  2. Social clubs don't pay taxes either.
  3. HUD tracks this stuff: - 582,462 people experiencing homelessness in January 2022. (this was the peak for the year). - 127,705 individuals experiencing chronic homelessness in 2022 Chronic homelessness is spending one year homeless or being homeless 4 times in 3 years. https://www.hud.gov/sites/dfiles/PA/documents/HUD-PIT-by-the-numbers.pdf Almost all economic categories are deceptive like this. Part of it is because the language we use. "The homeless population" is less like a group of people and something more like a categorical instance of people.
  4. It is this. 400-500k of those homeless won't be homeless in a year or two. We actually do a decent job turning homeless people into not-homeless people (thanks in no small part to christian-lead charities and initiatives). The growing homeless population has more to do with the next wave being larger than the last than it does with chronic homelessness.
  5. At least one poster here seems convinced everyone sees the same posts. As if the entire world cares about, *checks feed* which SEC team has the best throwback logo (It's USCe). In summary: - Doesn't know there's a share button. TBF this might be called something else on iPhone. - Doesn't know what "training the algorithm" means. - Doesn't know what "rage-posting" means. - Wonders why he sees "racist and incel" content on Twitter.
  6. Yeah. Thought that would be obvious. You click something and you get more of it. I'm pretty sure the share button is one the worst to press in that regard.
  7. Mine honestly hasn't changed one bit. My feed right now is Dan Casey breaking down Yeoman's Triple Option. Followed by Blake Gideon tweeting about Diggs. An ad for reading glasses, Bijan, JPA Football, PFF, HayesFawcett. The people seeking out stuff to rage post here are literally training the algorithm to keep sending them stuff like that.
  8. These WRs are going to be good. I forgot how fast X and JW after the catch.
  9. I dunno if he got it but that was a nice run by Red.
  10. OL has looked meh up until this goal-to-go series. Good push when it matters.
  11. Austin Jordan knocked that one out. He had it.
  12. It's ranked by share of mortgages offered to each age bracket. It has zero to do with popularity, but probably much to do with affordability and population growth (past for Gen Y and present for Gen Z).

    Fat People

The 5% stat is misleading. It's total population of morbidly obese who lost and then maintained a normal weight category for 9 years without medical intervention. Something like 50% of morbidly obese people will get their BMI under 35.
  14. 1) The referee doesn't review plays in college. 2) Hashmarks are probably the most significant rule difference in the sport and the college hashmarks are superior to NFL in pretty much every way. 3) #4 is better than #3 for three reasons: (1) Erode the difference between running and passing teams with regards to offensive pace and volume (and game length). (2) Playcall diversity in 6-minute situations. Not sure why people think it's exciting to watch a game where one team is runx3 and punt, and the other team throws it out of bounds 50% of snaps then waits ~45 secs for the next snap. Most sports go into hyper drive at the end of time periods and football seems to slow way down (basketball bugs me in this regard as well). (3) First downs are at least earned time stoppage whereas throws 10 yards out of bounds are not.
  15. The vaccine causes hemoglutenation as well, so it's probably making things worse faster than better. It seems like a lot of these cases involve getting both close together or come after getting a booster - i.e. a cumulative effect. But that's just speculation.
  16. One could say she found a silver lining after volunteering as tribute.
  17. I'm not sure how there would be any costs or damages here. There would have to be liquidated damages or a buyout schedule in the contract itself for this to be a good case.
  18. As a reminder and addition to this point. Smart is about to play for b2b national titles. Smart is far from a good coach. He was still playing man-2 with cover-grass zones and having his defense swap sides of the field based on strength a few years ago. He reached out to Todd Orlando to help him modernize his defense. He got humiliated by Tom Herman while having at least a dozen NFLers on his roster. But he's really good at using bags to stockpile talent.
  19. And for $39.99/mo you get access with no statute of limitations.
  20. I completely forgot about his half-season with the Falcons. Both Arkansas and Georgia are going to be out for blood.
