  1. I'm not really disagreeing with anyone. 40s are a poor measure of athleticism. 5.0 isn't terrible for a TE. It's not great for a guy in a WR body, but if he can add weight AND doesn't slow down it's not terrible at all. The shuttle time is a better indicator of athleticism, and his was not good at all.
  2. A decent amount of NFL TEs run 5.0s. But not at 225 lbs. And they don't run 4.7 shuttles at any weight.
  3. Isn't it the opposite case about HS LBs? Not too long ago college's wanted 240-260 run-stuffing LBs, and that body was extremely rare to find at the HS level. The modern LB is a much easier find.
  4. And most HS coaches don't have the overall talent on hand to 'waste' an athletic 6'4"+ player at TE. They either play defense or get flexed out too much for a good eval.
  5. I definitely heard it growing up, but never as a way to disparage blacks as a group. I'm not quite sure when I even discovered it was a racial slur. It was used pretty much exactly like RG3 used it. Disparaging someone who was a trash-talker, showy, or flamboyant in some other manner.
  6. They had 35 seniors - 12 starting. I'm sure some will return for covid year.
  7. It's approaching 40 if not already there.
  8. Who is the poster that had the roster marked up?
  9. NTO = North Texas Orthopedics
  10. NTO in Grapevine off Hwy 26. They have in-house PT, which is nice. I did a lot of PT there between/after elbow surgeries (had the surgeries elsewhere).
  11. A few posts down he basically admits to #1.
  12. Interesting to see if that company works out. They make 15% from school of enrollment (85% to athlete), 10%+ from 'losing' schools (you can refund for 90% after the athlete enrolls). The bigger question is how many people can they get to actually purchase/collect these?
  13. Feels like he should have a decent enough shot here, though. I mean he certainly would have helped this year. I guess it's not ideal for an OL to see how things shake out in spring ball, and if his injury is lingering, that changes the math.
  14. Due process kills sovereign immunity. It is the door through which basically any other claim would be possible.
  15. I think it is this, but that's a pretty egregious miss still. Sandy Creek should forfeit, imo.
  16. He's good at not getting sacked. He does throw some wtf balls on the run, though.
  17. I don't disagree about Penix, but their WR duo (really trio with Polk) are good.
  18. Is this also the thread for game talk? Washington's offense looks good. On par with the best of the Big 12. They stretch the field vertically better than we are able to, but the run game leaves a bit to be desired. They make up for it with a solid quick screen game. Their defense is not good. They haven't really had a good game all season. The secondary plays unsound and gives up a lot of chunk. LBs get lost. There's not a good comp in the Big12 for them. I suppose it would be Tech, but UW has an elite offense while Tech's is merely decent. I don't think it's a particularly good matchup for us. We will score on them, but they are set up nicely to test our defense.
  19. I'll ask Rick. Ricotta know.
  20. Someone catch me up. Is A&M recruiting Easterby or McNair? What position(s) and do they have an updated Hudl?
  21. Yeah, that's one hell of a first post. - Doesn't match his copypasta formatting to the website default, - gets hardly any detail about the game or UW correct - writes worse than a toddler
  22. The Astro generate income and presumably grow in value.
  23. Sanders was acquitted unanimously. Meander had the charges dropped after. I believe the girl's friends testified against her in court.
  24. Which one of you is TurkishAg? He lays it on a bit too thick to be serious.
