  1. Crazy how people expect a 3rd year starter at a top 5 team to play when conditions arent perfect. Kyle Porter is a great running back when he has a hole to run through, the run route develops as designed, and defenders are too slow to catch him.
  2. It's not a lie. It's an absurdity that a multi-year starter can only perform well when conditions are perfect for him. That's the expectation of a 2 star recruit playing for Boston College. The expectation of a blue chipper earning $1M+ in NIL on a ranked team is to outperform in adverse condition. To play well WHEN his protection breaks down.
  3. 0.9999 recruit playing for QB whisperer on a playoff team, everybody:
  4. Thats a nice little reading nook tho or a doggie cave or toddler playplace
  5. How many pesos they got paid for this was not enough
  6. I remember as a kid watching movies when they have emergency plane landings and when the plane overshoots the runway theres some netting as a last-resort barrier, and i always wondered if those truly worked in stopping a jumbo jet anyway
  7. its always the driver you most expect.
  8. ESPN had a great passing map from the OU game. Cant find the article again. Basically all the completions were spread across the width of the field at the depth of the line of scrimmage. Then 2 or 3 completions beyond — the rest were all incompleted or intercepted.
  9. “There are over 400 NCAA Division I quarterbacks. And almost all of us will be going pro in something other than sports”.
  10. This team wouldnt even place 3rd in the Pac 12
  11. titanic was billed as the unsinkable ship which feels like a bit of false advertising
  12. jeremiah smith scored again. kids insane. nfl ready.
  13. These guys are outwardly nice to everybody else. Theyre only catty towards one-another and it feels like some sort of OSU-Michigan resentment but it lives on every single day.
  14. Aight imma take the train
  15. I have peers from the region whose corporate rank do not match their cultural/caste rank and watching the subtle infighting between them is 🍿🥸
  16. in newest ESPN mock draft he's the 3rd QB and actually the 5th Longhorn behind Banks, Bond, Williams, and Barron
  17. not quite the same example because TRC was legit but still:
  18. A rack of cassettes is cooler than a crate of vinyl though. Plus they're slightly less fiddly to handle where you worry less about scratches and dust and etc
  19. funny enough, lagging vinyl's revival, is cassettes also seeing its own resurgence. i kinda get the appeal too: the sound and tactility of opening the case, loading a cassette in the player, snapping the lid shut, etc. sometimes a long and noisy button to initiate play. it has a more satisfying sensory experience than even operating vinyls.
