  1. this makes it all the better
  2. He thought the same about Alpine, too. Cmon, somebody put this old dog in a good car 😪😪😪
  3. Copenhagen yes because it's on the continent and winters are a bit milder. Nothing you can't survive with a mid layer (fleece or thin down) and an outercoat, plus gloves. Or a single puffer jacket and long sleeve shirt. For outdoorsy scenic stuff, I suggest summers are better because you get greenery and way more daylight. Of course many people like the romantic idea of the Scandinavian winters too....
  4. not a full grown one, i could punt a baby one over the crossbars
  5. Ive never attempted a football field goal in my life but im convinced i could clear a 35yd’er. is that a realistic-easy feat or one of those people-overestimate-their-ability kind of thing?
  6. What the everlivingfuck happened to aston martin?
  7. No kidding. 4 victories difference yet only single digit points ahead lol. Ferrari is not too far behind. 1 DNF from verstappen and Ferrari can claw ~30 points back just like that
  8. The passer rating system is even more fucked up than imperial measurements.
  9. You gonna bathe yourself in the waters of lake minnetonka ?
  10. Janis lyn Joplin was born in 81 ?
  11. Funniest thing about red bull no longer providing the fastest car is verstappen bitching about all the shit that he himself does: not leaving space, moving under braking, etc. My guess is with the pressure from Norris hes going to shunt him off one of these races.
  12. How the aggie hype trained started: how its going: honestly though i thought weigman was gonna be better than he is
  13. While true and true, her politics are aligned with Hollywood, so if she wont be heard from again, it wouldnt be for that reason.
  14. The flavors extracted from coffee is a transition. Tart fruit comes out first, then it mellows to a balance, then acrid burnt notes. If you taste too much fruit, extend the water to coffee ratio. Finer grind also exposes more surface area and allow pulling of more flavors beyond the initial sour notes. Hotter water similarly increases extraction. All 3 are broadly and directionally similar but they have some interaction on oneanother and 2nd order effects.
  15. For 1 week you should do 2 destinations, at most 3. In this region I suggest 1 urban city and 1 outdoor region/tour. Copenhagen is the most vibrant and cosmopolitan city. Oslo is about the forest and fjord surrounding the city but not tue city itself. Theres a popular tour called Norway in a Nutshell that combines trains buses and ferries that does a very good rapid sampling of the lower half of the country. Probably the best base for an itinerary that you can expand and fill as many days as you have. No comment on anything relating to cruises
  16. In this house we believe in restorative justice.
  17. My expert analysis:
  18. All the scenes in the Rhun desert kinda throws me off because it feels like theyre suddenly in the Star Wars universe. Ragged clothing, bandits in weird masks, etc
  19. jeremiah smith catching everything in his neighborhood, goddamn
  20. dude is making Senior catches

  22. signaling to the rightthink tribe.
  23. Back when many people didnt understand how the world worked, some natural event like a landslide would rush through a village, and the priest would invent a new superstition to ascribe the occurence. Like “well that was obviously the goat-headed mud demon Zuul acting out of malevolence, and if you elect me as elder ill cast a spell to keep him out” And it worked. The priest gained more followers and the simple villagers gained an avatar towards which they direct their spite. Sometimes reading shit about business here feels a lot like that still, just voodoo and superstition.

  25. This might be damning if somebody would first please define what is the correct prices sellers have a "right" to set? (And, you know, think through the implication of that) Like, are they supposed to do this that is written in the Bloomberg article: It shouldn't need reminding that none of these things are illegal or amoral: *selling eggs at kroger when buyers have 10 other stores they can buy it from *asking for variable margins across different products when the companies total residual profit before, during, and after the pandemic was literally less than 2% nobody limits how much you can ask in exchange for your house, your car, or your labor. it shouldn't need reminding, but a bunch of you take your cues from Newsweek headlines, so maybe it does after all.
