  1. This would have made me ragey. Luckily my wife is pretty quick about the store now. Did not start that way.
  2. Wife and I decided yesterday that we would go to a sports bar to watch Horns play VCU today. I’m excited because this woman rarely wants to watch sports. I get home from work and she immediately tells me she wants to go to this wine bar because she is in the mood for wine and not beer. I’m pissed because I want to watch the game and this wine bar doesn’t have a tv (wine selection at sports bar is lacking). After a brief argument we go to the wine bar. We get our table and my wife orders a fucking Stella Artois. I stare in disbelief. Wife: “well you were talking about drinking beer so much it made me want a beer!”
  3. I always go to Facebook marketplace and find someone selling them out of their apartment/garage. Haven’t been disappointed
  4. The fucking Hunter boots.... Wife INSISTED that she absolutely needed them and couldn't live life to the fullest unless those were on her feet. Wanna guess how many times she has worn them in 2 years? About as many as I have.
  5. Wife asked me the other day if we could put our Christmas tree up/decorate over the weekend. We still had family in town from Thanksgiving so I told her we would do it Monday. The reason for this is we have to move the loveseat from the living room to the office in order to fit the tree in said living room. We needed every couch we had to seat everyone. Didn't make sense to move the loveseat with guests still staying with us. My wife probably asked me 4-5 times if we could even with that logic. *side note - accomplishing all of this is very easily done. I had no issue with doing it but we wouldn't have enough places for everyone to sit and watch football* Fast forward to Saturday night - everyone is relaxing by the tv in the living room. I run out to pick up food. I come back to see the loveseat in the office, the tree out in the living room (still in 4 pieces), and FOLDING CHAIRS set up BEHIND the main couch (because there isn't room with the tree). She had decided to put the 2 taller guests in the folding chairs so they could see the tv over everyone on the couch. Movie theater style seating except for, you know, the incline and the fact that our TV isn't that high on the wall. The whole living room looked like a mess so I started drinking.
  6. Guy deserves even more credit for hanging on considering he probably had to support an additional 5-6 lbs of shit in his pants.
  7. Went to Brooklyn Heights Pizzeria (Leander, TX) for some football. Hate their food but their football happy hour is good enough to where I'll stomach it. Ate some pepperoni rolls that were pretty undercooked and wings. Wings didn't seem off to me but I was pretty drunk so not sure I would have noticed anyways - pepperoni rolls were definitely undercooked though. The mayhem began around 4 am. I was hungover too. Shitting and puking fire for what seemed like an eternity. Easily one of the worse days of my life. I'm still not sure how it was still going when I hardly ate anything the entire day. There were so many times I considered going to the hospital just so they could do something - anything - for me. Had a couple of times where I thought I just had to puke and ended up losing a good pair of underwear in the process. Will never go back to that place.

  9. I see what you’re doing. And appreciate it. Well done.
  10. Have to give a HUGE shoutout to @HeHateMe We just had dinner at Elements and it was the best culinary experience we have ever had. Perfect anniversary dinner. Thank you!!
  11. Bumping this since we are going to Scottsdale this weekend (5 days). Playing golf a few of them but need some more ideas: good cocktails, restaurants, shopping, etc. Already going to Elements and Too of the Rock. Thanks!
  12. I bought the Groupon for Lago Vista a couple months back (2 for 1 golf) that expires August 30th. I had forgotten about it and there's no way I'll be able to get out there before then. Anyone on here want it? Just giving it away - it's already paid for - would rather it be used than go to waste. And, yes, I'm aware you never lost the amount you paid but kind of defeats the purpose of the deal to go with that option. Let me know.
  13. Recipe? Been trying out a few different hot sauce/salsa recipes. Looks fucking good.
  14. Literally just dealt with similar issue but it was airport parking. 3 day trip and she inexplicably decided to take an Uber....We live in Leander so that's $120 vs about $30 max for airport parking. She thought parking would be a "hassle".
  15. What he said. We have been twice in the last 8 months and are going again in November.
  16. Anyone on here a member at The Hills in Lakeway? My buddy fucked some chick on 9th green during our wedding reception. Surprised he didn’t get caught but it was dark.
  17. It was bad when I was there in October but didn’t see much on playa norte a few weeks ago.
  18. I had exactly 2 hours to try and finish my round so I didn’t stay and argue. I drove off as she was lecturing me. Mid-sentence and all. She was certain I was in the wrong for almost hitting her (again, couldn’t see her). There was no swaying her opinion.
  19. Her stance was that, since it is a public course, it serves the same purpose as a public park. Not joking.
  20. Not my wife but someone’s wife. Figured that still applies. Im playing golf this evening at Crystal Falls (Leander). Hole #6 has a pretty big downslope and you can’t see about 40% of the fairway from the tee box. I know there isn’t anyone playing in front of me so i go ahead and tee off. I drive down the hill and notice there is a woman WALKING WITH HER BABY STROLLER ON THE CART PATH. I stopped and let her know there are still people playing and she needs to be careful as she was walking right in the landing zone (my ball landed about 20 ft from her). She proceeds to tell me she does this all the time and has never had an issue. Also mentions that I need to be aware that people use the course for reasons other than golf...
