    Texas GPA

So damn weed out classes in engineering and computer science back in the 90's did the trick.
  2. Better than same old shit? I did not know Jerrah was going to leave the building.
  3. Jerrah asking Deion if he wants 15 or 20 million a year to be the Cowboys' next head coach. Punch line at the end.
  4. We all know Arch will struggle from time to time as he gains experience but everyone can see the talent. Yet aggy follows a predictable pattern. They know Arch is talented but they convince themselves that he won't be successful, so that they can feel good until their next loss to us. This past season they did it with Ewers, the run game, our OL and our DL to no avail.
  5. I also believe Quinn coming here enabled Arch to commit to us. Those in the know said Arch and family wanted him to red shirt. We had no one on the roster that would have been seen as a starter over Arch and Georgia probably wins the recruitment.
  6. Yes there is a grace period, it last until the first incompletion in this years spring game.
  7. Same is said by USA today but maybe they are all quoting a single made up number? If the information is accurate, however, it would make Ewers' decision to transfer an easy one. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2025/01/13/quinn-ewers-nfl-college-football-decision-money/77667652007/
  8. Sark shows off his balls when Ryan Day dared him to run it in by consistently interfering on pass plays into the end zone.
  9. Thank you Quinn and I hope unlike Chris Simms it does not take fans a decade of suffering to come to appreciate what you meant to this program. I hope you are able to come back and get cheered when you are shown on the screen for being the first major piece of getting us back to being in position to win meaningful games. 1) Thank you for causing us to seek out great chicken fried steak as we waited for your commitment. 2) Thank you for showing us so early that you had the talent to get us where we needed to go 3) Thank you for getting us Arch, his family wanted him to redshirt and without you that would not have not been an option. Him and his family knew that with our other QBs, fans would have wanted him thrown to the wolves before he was ready. Georgia would have given him what he wanted and not us. 4) Thank you for the joy you brought us in this performance against OU 5) Thank you for clutch throws against Alabama in 2023. We could not believe what we were seeing, Alabama fans walking out at the beginning of the 4th quarter. They just knew it was over. 6) Thank you for a BIG XII championship and getting us into the playoffs for the first time 7) Thank you for a work of art against Michigan ๐Ÿ˜Ž Thank you for beating all three of our rivals in the same year 9) Thank you for two play-off wins and you and the team played well enough to beat Ohio State but were let down by your coaches. I hope you go to the right team in the NFL and get the proper footwork coaching that Milwee clearly failed to figure out how to fix. You made Longhorn nation proud even if it is hurting right now but it is hurting because you made this kind of hurt possible. P.S. Someday Sark will get his Vince that will say fuck that other play coach you had the right play called on 3rd down we are running it again. You couldnโ€™t do the same because he brought in different personnel. Just adding this to close the loop on this post.
  10. If Sark takes that job some day he will be interviewed about taking the Cowboys job and he will give the Saban answer about taking the Miami job. "I had a bad case of the dumbass".
  11. I hope Sark wakes up this morning knowing that as a coach he got this team so close but in the end when a team is playing for championships against equal talent it is the coach that makes the difference. The Bert pattern of missing field goals had been apparent all year and it cost the team an SEC championship game. Sark should have seen this coming and it should have been corrected it before that game. Sark started the season knowing that red zone offense was his biggest weakness since they finished ranked 89th as per surly poster in the prior year and finished ranked 111th this season. He knew what players he had, he knew their strengths and their weaknesses and yet he could not design a few play calls that would work even when the defense knew what was coming. To me I think Sark thought he had the element of surprise on the pitch out. Championship teams and championship coaches are never surprised Sark needs to start by assuming they always know what is coming and you are still going to be better because you have your players better prepared. In practice fucking tell your #1s what is coming and defend it like they would and and execute it until they can't stop it no matter how many times they try. If you can't get it to be successful then draw up the next play until you have the one that will work.
  12. So your strategy is not to admit to listening to him since clearly you had to listen to him to come to your conclusion. I agree with you by the way but when rubbing salt in the wounds one goes all out.
  13. I saw the game was on and thought with football season over it is time to watch and noticed we are 1 - 7. Fuck this shit I am not watching why get invested. Had enough for one weekend.
  14. On the drive down from Dallas today I listened to On Texas Football and Fat Ketch post games and Fat Ketch said something that is worse then what I thought happend. Last night I was talking about how Mackovic practiced roll left until it was perfect in case he needed it. I mentioned that Sark did nothing of the sort only to have Ketch say there is no way the sequence of plays that Sark called were not the best two plays in his bag and he probably had the team practice them repeatedly in case they found themselves on 1st and goal from the one.
  15. It is not just the goal line calls. We get an interception and yes the quick throws have been working and what does Sark do to cash in on the interception? He runs it twice into the line and has to punt it back.
  16. Sark said his play call would have been a TD if his players would not have allowed players to leak through. The leaking had happen in 3 of the last 4 games if you include this one. Why would he expect that play would all of a sudden work? Instead we lose 6 yards. He said prior play did not work but it seems to have gained a half yard (have not seen highlight in detail). If so give it a chane to gain you another since that is all you need. Fucking Sark๐Ÿ˜ก
  17. Anybody blaming any of the players for this loss is full of it. a) Defense gets ball and momentum. Empty sets are working and fucking Sark runs into the line on first and second down and gives back the ball. b) Ohio State makes it clear that a pass will not get into the endzone since they will interfere every time and dare Sark to have the balls to run it in and Sark shows he has no balls.
  18. Canโ€™t put this one on quinn sark has to make that call and on 4th he has to move is QB out of the pocket to his favorite side.
  19. They interfered with us every time and they dared us to run it in. Even that wingo pass was interference.
  20. Hate I missed it but just got into the area. Hope you surlys had a hell of a good time!
  21. It really makes them 10 - 2 since those two loses become strong moral victories.
