  1. This thread isn't about making the SEC championship game or the playoffs – it's about taking that final step to break through to a championship. What you're discussing has already been shown to be achievable with the current staff.
  2. I think this is part of the issue: there's no one in Sark's ear with experience against elite competition to provide a second opinion in the room or during the game, helping him to outclass elite play callers on the other side.
  3. Texas is on the cusp of greatness, but needs to break through. It's clear that PK and his defense has been solid the last two years, but the offense, led by Sark, is the weak link that's been failing. Ryan Day got Chip Kelly and Mack parted ways with his DC buddy to help them break through. Who will help Sark get there? It won't be Milwee; he's learned most of what he knows from Sark. In Atlanta, Sarkisian struggled to match Kyle Shanahan's success, and his red-zone issues ultimately led to his firing. Yet to win a championship Sark will need to be successful versus NFL-level talent and speed. Sark is the mastermind, but Milwee is probably the mechanics specialist. Have quarterbacks improved under Milwee's tutelage? Quinn's mechanics were always in question, and now it's Arch's turn. Sark has shown he can hire quality assistants, so he should hire a quarterback coach with a strong reputation for improving mechanics with a big enough ego and credibility ( a la Patterson) to challenge Sark's ideas, rather than simply following Sark's direction. This could help Sark get past whatever it is that has held him back when he has not had a Carrol or Saban challenging him to do better. Are there any candidates like that out there?
  4. So did they touch the punt or refs just decided not to throw a flag?
  5. So in the post game presser when they ask Bill what went wrong will the girlfriend interrupt and say we are not talking about that?
  6. Missed holding calls Bill? We don't call holding.
  7. So when will he go crickets on his power ranking this year.
  8. No questions on why he did not the points. Also, someone needs to ask him if he knows his 4th down success percentage in the redzone in the past 4 years against top 25 competition.

  10. It does not really matter to me since I had never heard of him until this week and I do not watch Big Noon. So fuck the OP for making his name front and center as I browse through threads on this board. Can we change the name of the thread name to "Big Noon is a show for douchés".
  11. Is this their version of a "We're Doomed" thread.
  12. Bad mechanics didn't show up last year when he was playing shitty competition; they did show up versus Georgia. On one play versus Georgia, he had time, yet he missed a wide-open receiver in that game. What if his bad mechanics only show up when he's overwhelmed and anxious about playing a talented roster? These games will tell us nothing, but I hope he gets over whatever it is in big games and gets more help from Sark next time when we play Florida.
  13. After yesterday all I could think was that everything we learn about this team will not matter until the first quarter versus Florida.
  14. When they said attempted 11 and hit 4, I thought they are fucked.
  15. All these clutch red zone TDs make me feel bad.
  16. First blatant display of ref help this season.
  17. That's a hell of a catch
  18. Buddy just texted me Arch Manning as uncle Rico. Tried to text back the GIF with Vince, Matt and Reggie but could not find it. I told him that was a good omen around here.
  19. Some coaches have all the luck
  20. Nah now they need to Jordan it up
  21. Misery does love company
  22. Got to hand it to Simpson for effort.
  23. Sark and his fucking fade that Rod says works like less than 15% of the time.
  24. Finally checking the game thread, so how bad Arch sucked and how feeble has Sark’s play calling looked?
