  1. My ex SIL was model gorgeous. For that matter my ex was really attractive too, but not like her sister. Sister was offered all sorts of cash and benefits to travel with ultra wealthy men she was so beautiful. When she opened her mouth, vapid, selfish, drivel came out. I never once found her truly attractive. She ended up forsaking the man she loved because he was poor, married a day trader from back in the day, he was a one hit wonder. They currently are broke and on the verge of divorce … but they don’t believe in it because they love Jesus, so they are just miserable and poor together. Not sorry.
  2. Cisgender…. You can drop the d. No one is blacked, or whited. Or gayed, well I mean we are actively recruiting so that last one is a bit of a gray area. Anyway pos rep for trying. and I agree she’s a very attractive woman. I recently doubled down on my beauty regimen and it’s a cold hard fact - you got the time and money - you willing to spend it - you too can look more beautiful. I guarantee you her beauty budget is easily $10,000 a month. And I wager she’s spending half her day doing something related to maintaining her beauty. It’s unrelenting and exhausting to be honest with you. But hey, dose athletic competition trophies are so worth it!!!
  3. Looks like we are headed to at least 4% in Colorado if not 10% in CA if the Texas lege successfully passed their anti LGBTQ bills - ID reversals and complete ban on trans healthcare for all persons not just kids. Can’t say I’m excited to pay the tax I don’t want to move but I guess a tax is better than death, give me taxes and liberty baby!

    LBGTQ

Yep it’s an amendment to the out right ban on gender affirming care for minors - expanding it to all persons. told ya it wasn’t about protecting kids…
  5. On the flip side the non alcoholic beer selections continue to grow and the quality breweries are now pushing out high quality stuff. Even three years ago we were all enamored with athletic brewing’s line but it’s swill compared to the good stuff out now. I pretty much won’t drink a regular beer at all anymore.
  6. gold statute, gold jerry... proof maybe we are less funny before finishing our morning coffee, I dunno.
  7. I thought this was going to be a thread of dominance and resurgence of OG shag fan fiction. Oh wells.
  8. Same i’ll never go back. But to be able to listen in on their convos would be gold Jerry!
  9. thank you I was thinking it was 3 quarters but that seems excessive then I thought well if it's 3 it must be months. shoulda looked. 2 consecutive quarters ... well, either way I won't be surprised if the pain goes up and people say it's our duty to endure.
  10. Takes three consecutive months of negative growth for a technical recession I think. So depends on this month. If it starts now then in May it would be recognized.
  11. There is absolute wisdom in none at all starting yesterday. But even if you have no psychological issue and no liver or kidney issues, cognitive health pretty much demands your consumption be as little as possible (like under 5 drinks a week) and zero by the time you exit middle age (beginning around age 65).
  12. Days up and down they come, like rain on a conga drum, forget most, remember some, don’t turn none away. -Townes Van Zandt * * he’d qualify to be a founding member of this thread if still alive and he so desired. always, always remember until the end is truly nigh, that there is always tomorrow. I’ve had ridiculously bad days - the worst of them. Then the next few days in a row I’ve had the kind of outcomes that cause a surge in endorphins and make me feel truly alive.
  13. Current medical wisdom even re moderate drinking is that we should cut it all out 100% by age 65. That’s if we keep drinking at earlier ages at all.
  14. not gonna happen but I might just get the boat another way.... here's my grand plan... I just joined a start up boutique investment bank as their GC (part time, large deals, very nice stable of companies we are marketing, stoked about the opportunity actually), and we need to land a few fees but then I'm going to tell the CEO who loves boats and has connections out here even though they moved downtown recently to buy an "old man" boat for the company. we will be taking it out sometimes but partying on the dock regularly if that happens.

    My dog died

If I ever give up on humanity we may just buy a tract of land and adopt the dogs people gave up on. Dogs are awesome, if I ever was able to believe in God again it will be a dog that leads me there.
  16. The course you have selected is…. not available.
  17. All I’ve read is the WSJ article and it def lacks details…
  18. You’d think with that Biden would get more praise and Russia would be begging for a deal. Zelenskyy is smart to take the deal, it’s not a 30 year deal. If Trump had taught anyone anything it’s that the US can change its mind quickly. This deal might only be a 4 year or an 8-12 year deal. But with the right US president who believes Ukraine should be allowed to strengthen as a democracy, this deal can be modified, or if it ends up working for both the US and Ukraine then maybe it’s the beginning of a long relationship securing freedom and paying for the security Ukraine will absolutely need. Whats left is the borders of Ukraine. I have a hard time seeing Trump forcing Russia to give back territory, so is this war almost over? not sure.
  19. not sure it was a sharpie, I think it was a normal piece of shit pen that Paxton stole from another lawyer at the security line.
  20. Never have they had to deal with the US as an adversary. Necessity is the key ingredient here, I’m betting they can.
  21. oh Biden certainly played the part of a proxy war and did so brilliantly in a lot of ways. No nukes fired, Russian stayed engaged and now they are crippled. It's because of Biden that that group right there actually stands a chance to tell the US and Russia to fuck off. and I hope they do.
  22. he's still here. she's a homebuilder - customs and major remodels, she used to build specs too (not anymore).
  23. enduring economic hardship for the benefit of the billionaires is our new patriotic duty.
  24. yeah that's what we are going to do.
