  1. in a modern world I have no issue with revisiting birthright citizenship if the person born here was born of parents without permission to be here. That said, the process to discuss and propose that change is EQUALLY as important as the change itself. The demonization of immigrants first, the inhumane treatment of his first term and what's happening now, and the language and discourse around this issue is hugely damaging to all of us. Frankly, invoking an immigration bill that does protect dreamers, does protect current birth right citizens, provides a lawful path to work here especially in industries that need immigrant workers (much like the high end worker visa issues, we need a skilled/unskilled labor program too), then with all of that we could look at a Constitutional amendment to end birth right citizenship for people born of parents that are not here lawfully.
  2. Good luck with that. Covid is a game of Russian health roulette. I’ve had it twice. That’s it. I’m healthy, active, not one single marker that would say to you, she’s gonna get it bad this time. Six months later? Finally over it. Symptoms? Let’s see… non-responsive severe asthma like symptoms - couldn’t breathe - for 12 fucking weeks, cough that would not stop, severe insomnia for 20 weeks, a good night of sleep was 4 hours, zero hours for at least two days in a row happened more times than I could count, severe depression, severe anxiety, panic attacks, severe PTSD, internal vibrations, hypnic jerks, flashes of light when trying to sleep, severe chest pain, tinnitus… I think I got most of them… basically brain, lung, cardiovascular, nervous system, lungs and ENT injuries that took thousands of dollars and a thousand healthy choices and decisions to get back to good health.* my wife builds houses, her plumbing crew in 2020 lost two guys - died of covid. 5% of the global population has long covid. It’s a total FAFO virus. Please for your own sake take it more seriously. * I’m pretty much back and doing great, just some lingering PTSD that’s subsiding.
  3. Thanks I’m logging off for a few days I’ve worked my butt off to be healthy, my chest hurts.
  4. My wife and I are part of the queer community. I can call myself a tranny all day long, I can deadname myself all day long. By permission she can too though she doesn’t. she posted a tweet where someone said congrats to government gonna call you by your deadname. Yeah it’s kinda funny. But it’s not carte blanche endorsement of every body doing it. Sticks and stones I don’t give fuck. You’re not listening. but fuck it I don’t care, my blood pressure is through the roof today trying to keep it under 160/xx as I try to make sense of the legal ramifications of bills filed in the Texas legislature and this damn executive order Trump signed that literally erase my existence. its about to become a hellscape. Enjoy your right to be a dumbass, hope it’s not taken away from you.
  5. For the sake of the front desk staff I waited till stormed out thinking it was a waste of time to see a doctor - hadn’t eaten in 2 days - dehydrated and showing serious symptoms. Walked out. I called buck a fucking asshole out loud to the remaining patients and the staff.
  6. At urgent care, man walks in refuses to fill out the forms, asked about gender identity - DID YOU WATCH THE NEWS?! I’M A MAN, A MALE, I’M SO SICK OF THIS SHIT. Refuses to answer the race and ethnicity questions. Just an entitled piece of shit. Can’t even fucking fill out a form to sign in to see a helper.
  7. It really depends on states coordinating a legal resistance, a few upsets in the courts, courts following existing laws and precedent, whether a handful of republicans defect on any particular issue coming up for a vote, whether Dems can block in the senate. Do that and the damage will be severe but might be 4 years in duration. Of course some problems like climate are time sensitive so 4 years really matters. States will be up to no good too. Texas leg session is going to be a bloodbath. Florida is accelerating, and the rank and file conservative states are likely to have FOMO and accelerate as well. State outcomes are on a state by state basis but suffice it to say the balkanization of the US is about to move into late stage.
  8. I’ve been pulled over for expired tags. Always get a ticket, I think it’s because I refused to give him a blow job. I’m white. i’m kidding, not about the ticket. Maybe I need a police donation sticker.
  9. Garland was a bullshit nomination.
  10. It was pretty well known by folks who paid attention right after the game. But that’s the first legit article I’ve seen on it where it was actually admitted.
  11. Do you not even vital farms organic for $9.49 a dozen bro?
  12. Rather than explain … again…. let’s get back to leopards eating faces

  14. Right now Missouri is looking at 16 points by the end of the game.

  16. Is that fucking Galindo?
  17. He’s so funny and how he turned it around here makes him so likeable.
  18. Mack didn’t create DBU that goes back to Raymond Clayborne and Jerry Gray days. Bryant Westbrook, and others before Mack.
  19. Congress can do what it wants with its own powers - investigatory and passing laws, that’s checks and balances - the weaponization of the DOJ is something that largely really hasn’t happened outside of Trump’s attempts term 1 or his threats pre term 2. There have been plenty of special prosecutors but those by design are removed from the chain of command to precisely avoid interference. Unfortunately, the independence of the DOJ only exists to the extent the president and the AG respect the institution. 4 years accusing Biden of weaponization so the public is desensitized when Trump actually does it. It’s FAFO time.
  20. Only if QB1 turns his back to the defense for 3 seconds or more
  21. What am I supposed to do with all of that?
