The thing is, you can put 10 mins of game tape together of Quinn making NFL throws but you can also put 10 mins of him making embarrassingly bad throws and self sacks. Unfortunately the tape of him making accurate deep ball throws is about 20 seconds long. That had to be improved and it wasn't. Evidently nobody thinks it can be
Schloss explained it in post game. Pager had not been spotting the fastball in the upper part of the zone recently. Unlike most pitchers he needs to keep his fastball up. We had trouble laying off the high fastball. He hides it well. He pitches a lot like Jim Deshaies did.
Agree with this. The SEC has just as many dudes who can't hit a curve ball as any other league. It has more guys who throw high 90s, but half of them can't throw strikes.
