  1. That's what cool about this one. You know there will be another mission building on this one likely next year. Timelines are months instead of decades now.
  2. Different legacy, Hawkins Jr is the backup. I don't see Arnold getting pulled either way though. While not great, he's their best option and is still young. Their issue is OL and no WRs. QB change isn't going to fix that.
  3. Days like today I'm glad for Internet coverage to be able to watch such events. Amazing what they are actually doing and how little most of the worlds population cares about it.
  4. Incredible stuff going on. The fact it's a private company just makes it more incredible.
  5. So CBS updated their playoff predictions after the weekend: 4 Big12 3 SEC 3 Big10 1 ACC 1 MW
  6. Correct - Zach Calzada is the last A&M QB to win a true road game...
  7. Appreciate the heads up.. never heard of that... anyone booking one needs to clarify that they want and are getting propofol full sedation.
  8. Leonard apparently injured his non-throwing arm in 1st half of the NIU loss. He basically can't run now either given that hit would take him out. Freeman sounded like a guy trying to explain why you were going to see their backup in the next game while trying to manage basically benching Leonard. I get the dynamics of the transfer portal and NIL commitements to Leonard, but the backup Angeli has done nothing to show he isn't ready. Everytime he was called in last season he just lead them to score after score. He's definitely a better passer. I don't think Leonard starts again if Angeli sees the field.
  9. Sanchez is definitely the real deal and definitely not coming to Texas unfortunately.
  10. Not seeing a fireplace, I'm assuming this is used to heat the home.
  11. All I've heard is you can't shoot them under control, they just multiple too quickly and are smart enough to start avoiding you. Trapping is the only way to actually have a chance to get rid of them.
  12. So a TE putting on over 20 lbs in an off season while rehabbing an ACL injury isn't going to improve his performance? I guess the media day speak of the aggy writers priasing Elko getting the team "bigger" wasn't the good kind after all. /ShockedFace Going to need to switch to the "Do as I say, not as I do" mantra.
  13. The results of this game is going to be billed as OU got caught looking ahead to Tenn, but Tulane is the better team. First team to 25 wins... I think Tulane is only team to get there.
  14. Same. McGuire's not currently playing him because he currently isn't a better option. I haven't seen or read anything to say Hudson hasn't been dialed in or prepared, based on the info we have it seems like more of a physical issue. Hudson missed all of spring after getting his knee scoped from an issue from high school. He was supposed to be cleared July 1st but that didn't happen. It happened late July just before fall practice started. So kid missed all spring and summer and knee didn't heal as was expected. I think he's just behind physically right now.
  15. Elko very much has Tom Herman "I'm smarter than you" vibes and could easily snap answering questions on how they got smacked by a terrible Florida team and BG. Sept could be an epic implosion even by aggy standards.
  16. Yeah, this is where officers' abuse their power though. Rolling down your window isn't a lawful order. He can make you get out of your car. And in this case he can "claim" fear for his own safety and yank Hill out of the car just like he did. Everything the cop did was likely "legal" but anyone with a brain can see that this is just a cop on a power trip who doesn't like Hill's attitude.
  17. This interaction is all with cop knowing he's got body cameras rolling and is also being filmed by home occupants. We all know the outcome if was before cameras were a thing.
  18. It's like you don't see that this problem is only getting worse and not better? What is the number of deaths/incidents when your risk assessment changes to "ok, NOW we should probably do something"?
  19. I normally get more nervous on these kind of "trap" games, but UTSA genuinely doesn't have an offense this year and I don't think their defense can score 40 on us.
  20. He's going to need to play well against a good team first. Or win a road game. Or actually be good. He's the walking example of a 7v7 QB who is great with no pressure and melts under pressure.
