  1. This belongs in the 'Kevin' (and 22% of other men) thread.
  2. There will be games this year that will push Texas to the limit, but this is not one of those games. I expect the Michigan coach to be gone after year-3; the shoes are just too big to fill. Texas 38 Michigan 17 Michigan receiving yards: 142
  3. Hawaii up 10 on UCLA at the half. Way to represent the Big10.
  4. LOL at all the posters saying there is no QB controversy. It's like you've never followed college football before. Wait until the season gets hard. Half of you will be screaming for Arch to start.
  5. This is Good and bad. I do not want a QB controversy. I do not want a QB controversy. I do not want a QB controversy. I do not want Applewhite v Simms. As they say, if you have two #1 QBs, you have no #1 QB. Sark need to earn his paycheck and manage this. On the plus side, the Manning family doesn't seem to be in a rush to get Arch into the NFL.
  6. Vegas, No. British betting sites, Yeah, I'm sure you could find that. https://www.olbg.com/news/oasis-reunion-betting-odds-tuesdays-massive-announcement-around-potential-oasis-reunion-sees-odds-manchester-london-and-even-glastonbury-dates
  7. Summer 2025? That leaves a whole year for the headcase brothers to remember why they broke up and that they don't like each other. 50/50 chance the tour never happens.* *unless they need the money; rock star life ain't cheap.
  8. There will be no slow start in this one. Texas scores on it's first four possessions and puts this out of reach fast. Both QBs look great. Texas - 56 CSU - 10 WR - 340 yards.
  9. As an American, this barely moves the needle. They have a few good songs, but they never crossed from 'good' to 'great' for me. That said, being in the crowd for a stadium gig in their heyday would have been an A+ time. I'm going to guess that their reunion shows will be like Metallica shows where the crowd is now older and far more mellow and polite than decades earlier. If the were playing locally, I wouldn't bother, but if I was going to be in the UK and could get tickets; hell yeah.
  10. Exactly as NMAS said: Patching or replacing drywall is easy; replacing chipped/cracked exterior bricks seems quite a bit harder. If it was me, I think I'd put the power line in a (metal or plastic) conduit mounted to the brick. Not as nice as a hidden cable, but a step cleaner than a dangling power cable.
  11. First, Not white enough. Second, $250? Hell no. You gotta know when to go premium and when to go cheap. Shoes you're only going to wear on very limited occasions are a go-cheap in my book. Get a one-time-use credit card number and spend $7.29. Then take the remainder of the $250 and buy 1 share of Nvidia.
  12. The WSJ story that this is based on is paywalled, but as far as I can tell from other reporting of it, that WSJ story is based on anonymous 'sources'. Lots of other sites, like Business Insider are picking it up and running with it as a factual story. Some sites at least are tapping the brakes a little bit. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13745985/Senior-Ukrainian-military-officers-came-idea-blowing-Nord-Stream-pipeline-night-heavy-boozing-ignored-Zelenskys-pleas-not-ahead-carried-plot-technically-qualifies-attack-NATO-bombshell-report-claims.html
  13. Come on man, Surly a football board: Russia put 11 men in the box, and Ukraine is now running free behind them.
  14. Once again another great Race. Damn, Parker stirred the hornet's nest.
  15. She started way outside on the back, so she should have been on the lower path...the other runner that was right in front of her is the one who screwed up by taking the outside path.
  16. Pretty sure that's Alex Honnold on his 'free solo' climb up Yosemite's Half Dome. If you don't follow climbing, 'free solo' means no ropes at all. It boggles the mind what some humans are capable of. There's a documentary about his Half Dome climb that is very uncomfortable to watch.
  17. If it was 1500.5 meters, Nuguse would have gotten the silver.
  18. Just watched the 1500. Hocker on the inside. That was a thing of beauty.
  19. It's gotta be tough to be Joe Kovacs; three straight Silver behind the GOAT.
  20. You might be surprised to find that a lot of successful parents don't give 9 year olds unrestricted access to technology.
  21. Damn. Eric Berger (and others) had an article suggesting that was a possibility, but I really didn't think NASA would make the call. This has to be the end of Starliner, right.
