  1. Nice truck, I'm afraid to get in that thing dirty.
  2. Rip tides have been really bad here in Destin. People just don't feel it when there shit-faced at crab island and the tide starts going out. Shits strong but very deceptive. RIP, dude had a fucking cannon.
  3. Back in my day, if you wanted rear AC you rolled down the windows...270 air. /old man yells at cloud
  4. I'd stay away from Amazon auto parts, I've got bitten on those knockoff parts a few times...never again. Plus when it shits out, and it will, good luck trying to return it. Stick with AZ, Oreillys, Advance, Napa, etc. and you can return it.

    High

I use tincture in my drinks and love them. Takes a bit to kick in but the high is different than edibles for me. Hard(ish) parts are dialing in the right dosage. I did two 40MG at first and that was too much. Now that I figured that out life is much better.
  6. I'd look at other places for a quote. I've got a built 48RE in my 07, 2500, 4x4 Dodge to handle 650 HP and 1500 lb-ft of torque and it only ran me $5k. You're getting ripped off, not sure what kind of car it is or how mechanically inclined you are but it would make a great father/son project for a weekend. Not to mention life lessons, I enjoyed that time w/my dad doing those things.
  7. That's who I follow as well and where I linked the YT video from. Mikes weather page is a great collaborative source.
  8. Looking like it's going to dissolve due to shear before it gets to far in the Caribbean islands per the info on tropical tidbits. Captain obvious here, hard to predict 7+ days out though.
  9. V1 is dependent on many variables, including aircraft config, flap settings, runway length, engine power setting, and aircraft weight to name a few.
  10. 1) Buy a bottle of daily vitamin gummies 2) Empty them out, replace w/cannbius gummies 3) Toss in your luggage 4) Profit
  11. Did she book basic economy tickets? Some of the issues, re-booking of tickets, standby changes, having to check bags, etc... sounds like a basic economy ticket was booked. If so, this is why you NEVER book basic economy. You have zero freedom under that fare code. Pro tip: if she can talk to a "redcoat" they are the supervisors of the front-line customer service agents and have some more flexibility when it comes to overriding booking issues. You can find them very easily, as they wear a red coat/jacket, and cruise the terminal from gate to gate. Hope this helps.
  12. YMMV? Time for gas and a lighter [emoji41]
  13. https://www.on3.com/db/zach-rice-122996/ He went to UNC.
  14. As a person who enjoys flying and a Delta loyalist tell her to keep all of her receipts. Send them an email, explain the issue, attach itemized receipts/invoices, include your address and other details, and ask if they can mail you a reimbursement check. If it's their fault (not the weather etc), they will likely send at least partial reimbursement (they have limits based on each city). Airport agents have nothing to do with this by the way, and don't call, send an email or use the written Contact Us link on the website because they will want copies of receipts. Side note, tires did exactly what they were designed to do. The brakes overheated due to an overweight, high-speed brake application and the thermal plugs in the tires melted. Thus allowing a controlled tire deflation. Seen this many times during my time in the Air Force. Glad she's safe!
  15. Agree 100%, I fly (a lot) with carts in my carry-on and never had an issue. TSA is worried about terrorists and bombs, not gummies and flower.
  16. An old farmer's trick, grab some bars of Irish soap and put them in a sock and place it in the truck/hood etc. Mice and rats hate the minty smell, we did that for the tractors on our farm, and never had an issue after that.

  18. Glad it work out for ya bud. I see 2nd Gen Dodge trucks for sale and people asking $20k+ and it just blows my mind. Like anything, it's worth what someone is going to pay for it and there is an ass for every seat.
  19. You can find them every now and then at swap meets but they are getting harder to find that's for sure. Looked on eBay for my bee, and people are asking stupid money for them.
  20. Agree, because dealerships will upsell you on some BS that you don't need or could do yourself. Some manufacturers have limits on what an OTC scanner can see or do within their ECM/PCM. Unless you have a snap-on solus (or similar with OE "keys" then you can retrieve the code. If it's a gas cap slap some Vaseline on that thing and she'll be good. Spit will work short term (that's what she said).
  21. I really enjoy it and have for a while now. I participate in a lot of travel, weed, automotive, home, pool, and veteran's forums daily. Surly has its place and I enjoy you assholes but each market has its target audience.
  22. If you had a CEL and it went away it "latched" to the ECM. You can have it read for peace of mind but if there is no performance degradation and all operating parameters are normal I would press on with life. Could of been a glitch in communication between circuits or a sensor got wet, bad ground who knows. Modern cars are really finicky like that.
