  1. or to sum it up more cleanly https://x.com/Joelmpetlin/status/1899268982487580797 For those interested in a more detailed legal explanation, Mahmoud Khalil is also deportable for another reason: Khalil is a spokesman for an organization that supports armed resistance by Hamas. That makes him deportable pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1227(a)(4)(B). That provision in the statute allows the deportation of even lawful permanent residents who are "representative" of a "political, social, or other group that endorses or espouses terrorist activity.” 8 U.S.C. § 1182(a)(3)(B)(i)(IV)(aa)-(bb); see also id. at (B)(v) (“representative” defined as including “an officer, official, or spokesman of an organization.") Columbia University Apartheid Divestment (“CUAD”) supports armed resistance by Hamas, a foreign terrorist organization. See Sharon Otterman, Pro-Palestinian Group at Columbia Now Backs Armed Resistance by Hamas, N.Y. Times (Oct. 9, 2024), https://nytimes.com/2024/10/09/nyregion/columbia-pro-palestinian-group-hamas.html……… (CUAD supports armed resistance by Hamas). Mahmoud Khalil is a spokesman for CUAD. See https://columbiaspectator.com/news/2024/04/24/cuad-negotiators-leave-talks-as-shafiks-midnight-deadline-passes/…………… (“Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia student on the CUAD negotiating team.”). You may not like the law, but don't pretend it doesn't exist. FAFO, Mahmoud
  2. I think this is the gist of it. https://x.com/SecRubio/status/1899892869332173133 "Coming to the United States on a visa is a privilege, not a right. The Trump Administration is determined to deny or revoke your visa if you're here to support terrorists." More in the video from Rubio above. Also, as has been stated by others they're not in circles singing Kumbaya Amid Latest Columbia University Controversy, Media Fails to Convey Pro-Terror Radicalism Driving Key Players | Combat Antisemitism Movement
  3. Yes, for the last few years. Been married 17. Wife sleeps much lighter than me. I snore some, but have "passed" multiple sleep studies so not a lot else I can do. Might try those earplugs for her though. Basically as we've gotten older, undisrupted sleep is prioritized.
  4. People in the new administration have started signaling that their will be some headwinds for the economy and equities. So be ready. I think their bigger concern is the large amount of short term debt maturing. It's more than usual given previous Treasury management. Need lower rates this year to make it happen. So I think stock market choppy/down slightly this year with continued interest rate drop would be an acceptable trade to them for the next 9 months.
  5. What a dumb motherfucker
  6. https://www.expressnews.com/news/article/northwest-vista-groundskeeper-san-antonio-dies-20200007.php?utm_content=cta&sid=615075146885e733ba426f25&ss=P&st_rid=a3958dbb-164b-42ff-8103-0800e8a77a4a&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=alert&utm_campaign=saen | on our radar no details, but guessing he somehow was ran over.
  7. Nice little time capsule here
  8. Well, what do suggest we do besides shitpost?
  9. Greg Cosell - Wikipedia He's been around a long time. Great connections with coaches and executives. His opinion is noteworthy.
  10. https://x.com/RossTuckerPod/status/1895110309582356573 Podcast with NFL films guru. Summary, doesn't think Quinn is NFL starter. I think he called his lower body mechanics, horrendous. Led to his accuracy issues.
  11. WTF is wrong with you Travis County? It isn't MAGA central Now 89.6% of kindergarteners are fully vaccinated in Travis County, 94.8% in Williamson County, 95.1% in Hays County, 94.9% in Bastrop County and 96.9% in Caldwell County.
  12. Have we seen any injury progress report on him? He had one that was bad enough to derail career.
  13. Devil in the White City. Very easy read.
  14. It's the same thought process that tells me the user name Girth Brooks is funny. It's just a stupid, silly picture.
  15. I had never looked at the Pulitzers for music. Did just now. A lot of original operas, musicals have been winners. His sticks out as one of these things is not like the other. I'm not sure why he got that. I've listened to the album. It's fine, not something I'd have on repeat or anything. The vocals and lyrics in rap are more emphasized because there's less going on musically. 90% of the songs you could play with a Casio keyboard and a drum machine. Bands are playing instruments, the music is more complex. There might actually be some improvisation. I'm glad for that everyone liked it. When it's Morgan Wallen with special guest Jelly Roll next year I'll probably be unimpressed again.
  16. the message was unintelligible. almost as if he was just mumbling
  17. The refs carried the Chiefs as far as they could. Got that sweet Swiftie ratings bump for NFL. Mission accomplished.
  18. You seem to know a lot about sluts.
  19. Could've fooled me. The performance was blah. Not much energy. If you have to be stoned to like the music and the vibe, probably shouldn't be the Super Bowl halftime.
  20. He mumbles mostly, not sure what the qualifications are for the genre.
  21. White here. Both of my teenagers wanted to see halftime show. I told them afterwards it was terrible and to get off my lawn. The mumble rap is just the least interesting music out there IMO
