  4. nah son, public service = public lives. if the cop was stupid enough to publicly post racist shit, probably too stupid to be a cop as it is and he clearly has an inherently racial bias. totally and fundamentally unequipped to be a police officer and a ticking time bomb. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/16/world/europe/germany-police-far-right-chat-group.html switching it up a bit - do you think cops, who otherwise have a stellar record, should still be cops if it can clearly be shown that said cop has a history of posting racist shit on social media? 5. I’d probably like to see his social media posts but yeah, no heartache on my end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I honestly can’t tell if you’re being willfully obtuse or facetious here. Dude was armed. The bodycam was on the entire time. Legitimate deescalation for 15 minutes. Only one cop providing directions. No antagonizing bystanders. Actual remorse for shooting someone instead of a bunch of cops slapping each other and saying good shoot while they adjust the narrative to save their ass. Cuffed and given first aid within minutes. Give me an entire PD made up these cops and we can put all this shit behind us.
  7. I'd shoot someone who was on my property actively lighting my house on fire, I don't think I'd shoot someone who threatened to burn down my house in the middle of the day on camera.
  8. ok so we're going to glance over the fact that the flag being set on fire is attached to said house while occupied? just trying to follow your logic.
  9. Nah, this whole exercise is focused on retaining the talent and not making a shitty situation worse. A good salesman/originator/account manager with technical experience and good contacts are very rare and are a recruiters wet dream (with the exception of O&G). Once a good employee starts thinking of greener pastures your in trouble. If it was a shitty employee who somehow formed an unbreakable bond with the client, which I’ve come to find out is pretty common, might play it differently.
  10. I like the enthusiasm but I’d like to see if flatty sees it the same way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. https://www.nj.com/camden/2020/09/watch-culprit-caught-on-camera-trying-to-torch-familys-black-lives-matter-flag.html can we count on you to shoot this guy in the gut and watch him bleed out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. My suggestion would be if you have a dedicated, experienced, capable account manager that you would like to retain - eat the loss and trust that the account manager is capable of utilizing the discount for future gains. Never been a fan of micromanaging. Otherwise you run the risk of losing a big client, losing a good employee with a significant amount of institutional knowledge to a competitor, and having to retrain a new employee who has a 75%+ chance of leaving you in less than two years. All while the whole market is upside down due to COVID. Yikes. Other than that, fuck you pay me. Clients rarely remember negative shit as long as you do good work, employees on the other hand - remember that time you took food out of their mouth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. just wanted to say its been dope havin’ another brotha around these parts. especially when brothahorn starts talkin’ his bullshit.

  15. SNOW is officially available to retail at $276/share.
  16. Yup. Just coming to say this. It’s not even retail yet... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Buffet: buys SNOW at $80 pre ipo IPO goes live at $120 Closes around $140-$160 Buffet: "Well sheesh people getting greedy, I'll be fearful. Plus, I'm already up 50%+ and by my rules I'll cash out now, don't want to get slaughtered. " but in all seriousness, the amount of hype for this IPO is significant - Buffet, Salesforce, JPM, GS, Ackman. ~$35 billion valuations mean nothing in this day and age. I’m going to take a chunk and keep some powder dry for dollar cost averaging but our mini-correction this past month looks behind us and I see this as a huge momentum stock right out of the gate. rightly so tho, not a lot of companies can take on AWS-dominated space and live to tell the tale.
  18. “Statistics from 1998 show that there were wide racial disparities in arrests, prosecutions, sentencing and deaths. African-American drug users made up for 35% of drug arrests, 55% of convictions, and 74% of people sent to prison for drug possession crimes. Nationwide African-Americans were sent to state prisons for drug offenses 13 times more often than other races, even though they only supposedly comprised 13% of regular drug users.” “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people” “The WOD doesn’t oppress black people, piece of shit cops who are poorly educated, poorly emotionally equipped, do not like their authority questioned, and/or believe they were predestined by god to enforce racial hierarchy oppress black people.” swap out guns any other weapon and it holds true. swap out the WOD for any other legislation aimed at instilling “law and order”, and guess what? The WOD is whatever the cops say it is as they have all the discretion in the world and damn near zero accountability. The fact that Reagan literally sold drugs to black people while passing the Anti-Drug Abuse Act should further prove that the WOD was nothing more than a tool to further oppress black people at the hands of the police. The WOD, Poll Tax, Literacy Tests and other Jim Crow bullshit are just iterations of the same tool. Law enforcement and their discretion.
  19. I think the opium and rice farmers in Afghanistan and Vietnam would like a word. Granted, I don’t think we stand a chance if the gov decides to go scorched earth on us but we’ve got a solid mutually assured destruction thing going on right now.
  20. rewatching Reno 911, the dean is a reoccurring character that shines.
  21. I think it's more like 38% to 40%. I think Biden wins the popular vote by ~5-6M but Trump flips MN and holds onto FL, PA, and NC for the win. AZ goes Blue and NV stays Blue. Not sure if that gets him to 270 but I'm like 70% certain Trump wins. I truly and honestly believe Trump wins because (a) every single fucker I personally know who voted for him in 2016 will do so again in 2020 and (b) the polling stations and mail-in ballot fuckery is pretty widespread (every single state with an R legislature and/or R governor has literally zero oversight) and the dems have provided a pretty lackluster response on that front. #teambrisket I will say the military comments and woodward tapes brought down my confidence level from 75% to 70% so we got that goin for us.
