  1. trump kicking him was my biggest lol moment of the episode, even though i saw it coming a mile away.
  2. i don't know if this has already been posted in this mess of a thread, but i came across this on twitter:
  3. oh, this thread added multiple pages over the past 24 hours for exactly the reason you'd think it would happen.
  4. i'm choosing to believe the two players Bobby referenced are Trenton Henderson and Malakai Lee.
  5. i'm assuming they'll scrimmage next Saturday and the following Saturday? feels like thats how they typically do things.
  6. needed a new hat for the season so i ordered this one from Last Stand Hats:
  7. this reads like @satyanash fan fiction
  8. i recently rewatched Mad Men from start to finish. watched the finale last week. Such an incredible series. i've started a Bojack Horseman rewatch. i never actaully watched the final season. I'm only halfway through season 1 so no way will I be done before football season.
  9. I'm not terribly concerend about any unit on the team, but if I had to rank the areas that I'm the most hesitant about going into the season, I think I would rank them: 1. Offensive Line - they are certainly talented, but it's hard for me to believe that we'll just replace 4 starters (call it 3.5 if you want to give Goosby credit for starting some of the most important games last year and playing well in those starts) without some sort of issues. 2. Secondary - again, I like the talent we have back there but it's hard for me to believe that we can lose Jahdae and Mukuba and just keep churning along without any issues. This is offset by the fact that I expect the front 7 to be spectacular and not allow opposing QB's much time to operate. 3. Running Backs - not super concerned, but i think the ceiling for the room overall depends upon the health of CJ Baxter. 4. Defensive Tackles - really not concerend at all. Every year we worry about the DT's we have to replace and every year it feels like the the DT's perform just as well as the guys they are replacing. And again any worries about DT's is immediately offset by how deep and explosive the other positions in the front 7 will be. This is going to be a very stacked team that doesn't have many warts. We are officially at the point where we are a true football factory and should just keep churing out great players to replace departing great players each year.
  10. i'm afraid this is going to be universal to every public institution in a red state. some will jump in more willingly than others, but this looks to be the direction things are heading.
  11. They comped Benjamin to Earl Thomas on Coffee and Football one day this week. If the comps are Earl or Mathieu, then yes he should absolutely be a top priority for Texas and he'd immediately become my favorite player in the class if he committed.
  12. that was the cherry on top of the sundae. so freaking good.
  13. just looked at the field for the Maui Invitational this year. doesn't seem to be nearly as loaded as it typically is.
  14. most things that haven't been relevant for over 20 years are given $1.5 billion, correct?
  15. i was going to say something harsher, but decided that i'll just say that he got the reception he deserved in his final wwe appearance:
  16. holy shit that was incredible. fucking amazing.
  17. i saw it yesterday and agree that it didn't really have a firm grasp of what it wanted to be or what it was trying to say. it was entertaining and intense at times, but also required quite the suspension of disbelief in others. Joaquin Phoenix was excellent, but that is to be expected going in. it was a very, very strange movie in that it has sat with me ever since i've seen it but i'm still not exactly sure how i feel about it.
  18. i don't know if it will wow you but i just sent an offer.
  19. Pacquiao looked pretty solid for 46 last night. Barrios is not one of the current greats, but he's not a tomato can either and he's 16 years younger than Pacquiao. I'm not as upset with the draw as some on Twitter are, but that was definitely a fight between two pretty evenly matched guys and I think that says a lot for Pacquiao.
  20. Anybody at the top of the standings who is pretty sure they're going to be in the playoffs want to trade something that can help me right now for Spencer Schwellenbach? I love him but I need to win every single category that is possible between now and whenever the playoffs start and I don't have the luxury of waiting for him to return from the IL. I'm probably too far behind as it is but I've been winning some weeks lately and want to make a go at the playoffs.
