  1. with thompson sidelined there are three players who matter on this summer league squad. here is what they did tonight: jabari smith - 38 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists on 13/25 shooting tari eason - 26 points, 9 rebounds on 12/25 shooting cam whitmore - 21 points on 9/16 shooting that's 85 points on 34/66 (51.5%) shooting. not bad at all.
  2. this versions of jabari smith is making me hard.
  3. it honestly made me think about going to the store and getting some dogs to throw on the grill. i'm a big fan of the HEB brisket hot dogs and putting bbq sauce on them, but have never thought about putting bbq sauce (specifically sweet baby rays) on a regular dog while it cooks.
  4. volkanovski is just a fucking machine.
  5. that was an awesome fucking fight. no idea how one judge had it 49-46 for moreno though.
  6. yeah i wasn't sold on taking him at #4 but i was pretty impressed with what i saw last night.
  7. anyone got a good link? the normally reliable streameast is not working right now.
  8. jaron ennis fights on showtime tonight. assuming he wins and looks good doing so, i wouldn't be opposed to seeing him fight the spence/crawford winner next.
  9. holy shit massive one punch ko on the early prelims
  10. not a huge deal but it would have been nice to see him play a couple of more games this summer
  11. first summer league game is at 6:00 on espn tonight. playing the blazers and scoot henderson. the rockets' lineup should be pretty stout with jabari and tari joining this year's first round picks.
  12. ho hum, braves win again, sweep the fish, and have a 9 game lead in the nl east.
  13. good signing for the suns. scoring should not be a problem for them.
  14. apparently if they do everything just right (i'm not going to pretend to understand it), they can still have about $15 million in cap room. grant williams would be an interesting option with that money.
  15. everyone they drafted in the latter part of the first round in 2021 and 2022 is now gone. don't really mind it, but they sure didn't really get anything that matters for any of them. of the three, i think tyty washington has the most potential. also figured they could do better for kj martin.
  16. um, i'm gonna need to see how that brooks contract is structured. on the surface, 4 years is atrocious.
