  1. yeah aggy likely wins the game without that. i, too, thought the inbound lob was Buzz's attempt to make up for calling that TO.
  2. if you didn't enjoy that game basketball might not be for you.
  3. awesome fucking game. by far the most enjoyable effort of the season. guys played so well together.
  4. pretty good half from the Horns. wish the lead was 2-3 possessions larger...
  5. Tre has got to take that one to the hoop much stronger.
  6. take all three of those you flopping aggy bitch.
  7. I'd probably enter a women's bracket if the price point was $10-$20/entry but I'd rather someone else set it up so i don't have to keep track of payments for two separate pools.
  8. Took me a couple of listens through the new Isbell album for it to really click, but damn this is good stuff. I don't think there is a skippable song on the album and I like them all more each time I hear them.
  9. definitely need to win the next three home games against dallas, chicago, and philly. only 1 game seperates the current #2 - 5 seeds in the west and we need to win as many of the "easy" games left on the schedule.
  10. i won't be able to do it this year. will be at a conference sun - weds. someone else can take my spot and lose $20 to @Huckleberry.
  11. got yours marked down.
  12. Starting this early as I will be in New Orleans Sunday - Wednesday next week. $30 entry fee, we'll pay out the top 3. You can join at the link below, password is "treefiddy." You can pay via paypal, venmo, cash app. Id ask that you use your surly handle as your entry name on espn and also to include your surly handle in the payment memo spot so I can keep up with everyone who has paid. If you don't have my info from another contest, just PM me and let me know which method you want to use and I will send you the relevant info. https://fantasy.espn.com/tc/sharer?challengeId=257&from=espn&context=GROUP_INVITE&edition=espn-en&groupId=b2a20b97-ce06-448c-85d6-a1f921794c2d&joinKey=cc853731-7288-3b7f-b472-de03dcf24c13
  13. I don't understand 3 putt's reply here. Beard did it 2 years ago. We all saw it. He fucked that up himself, it had nothing to do with UT or the ability to win consistently here.
  14. count me as another yes vote for Mark Few.
  15. has a good stream for these games ever emerged?
  16. that was masterfully done last night. i'm a pretty casual fan (though more into lately now that my nephew is getting really in to it), but that fully pulled me in for wrestlemania.
  17. didn't watch the fight last night, but sure sounds like davis got a gift by the ref not counting a knockdown when he took a knee.
  18. oh shit, Kabayel (another guy I'm not familiar with) had been dominated this whole fight with Zhang and then Zhang caught him with a big shot and put him on the ground. This card has been awesome through 1.5 fights
  19. i'm not familiar with this Buatsi guy, but this fight against Callum Smith is a fantastic slugfest.
  20. Sengun was fucking terrible last night and still ended up with 24 and 13. Jalen, Amen, and Jabari combined for 67 points on 57/53/71 shooting splits. A lot of moments of brilliance from those three and several moments of frustration as well. So is life in the NBA when you're built around four 21-23 year olds.
  21. yeah i was in the same boat. always meant to go back and re-watch it but never did.
  22. Bivol-Beterbiev 2 headlines a really solid card tomorrow and it's actually reasonably priced ($25.99). Thinking I'll just go ahead and buy this one rather than looking for a stream.
  23. is Bill Norton getting to come back? were we expecting that? https://x.com/billlnorton/status/1892331671698931977
  24. * I did a search and saw this mentioned in other threads, but did not see a specific thread dedicated to it. * I took the afternoon off yesterday and went and saw this in the theatre and thought it was fantastic. Not flawless, but very, very good. Adrien Brody and Guy Pearce were both great, the story was interesting enough to keep my attention, and the film was beautifully shot and put together. I loved that there was an intermission in the middle and really hope other 3+ hour movies start following suit. It really makes the thought of going to the theatre and watching an epic much more feasible than having to sit still/avoid going to the bathroom for 3 and half hours. I've only seen one other 2024 Academy Award nominee (Conclave), but this felt like an obvious best picture winner to me. I highly recommend it.
  25. the suns are going nowhere fast this year and the rockets have their pick. it could legitimately be a top 10 pick. maybe the rockets trade for KD on draft night and include that pick as part of the package? need to beat the warriors (another team going nowhere fast) tonight and close out the first "half" with a sense of momentum after that 6 game slide. only 28 games left to go in the regular season and the Rockets have a legit shot at 50 wins and a top 4 seed. we'd have all been ecstatic with that before the season. especially if we had known they'd do it without making any major moves and it was primarily due to this young core we've drafted and developed.
