Happy Hatch Chile Eve! Anyone spotted 'em yet?
Damn you man. I’m stuck in upstate NY and would kill you for some good pepper spice in any food.
Thanks for reminding me how spice deprived I am this week. At least wife made pozole last week. -

I don't get people that travel with animals. That has to be the most traumatic event that animal has ever been through. Noise, crowds, g force, pressurization. Jeezus H Christ.
Ha. You think that traumatizes them?
I’m gone for 3 days (wife is home with them) and I get back and think it’s been years since they’ve seen me. They can put up with a lot of stuff if pack leader is there.

Thanks. I don't have status on AA right now. I think one of the credit cards you can get with a high fee gives you some type of status, so I'll check into that before I start flying.
Nope. CC will get you free bag check and slightly higher boarding spot. No status until you spend lots of money on CC (and on stuff they want you to) or buying tickets. Loyalty points are the currency for AA. Best bet is to make an appointment at a PreCheck kiosk and sign up for that.

Problem with bus or airplane is if you’re ready to leave and weather, maintenance or other issues cause major delays. When I’m ready to go I don’t want to wait.

Didn’t take a pic but AA CVG-DFW 737 yesterday had a TWA tail. I thought of this thread when I saw it pulling in.

We've thought about that, too. Split time between here and somewhere else and if that's the case, definitely Phoenix/Scottsdale because of the weather flip. However, the wife doesn't like the idea of two houses across the country. "Shit breaks." She has a point. Just get a long term AirBnb if that's the case.
I understand “shit breaks” but with remote monitoring there is no problem you won’t see almost immediately.
Biggest regret of my life is selling house in Cedar Park in 2003 instead of renting it out for a few years.

Be absolutely honest. If money isn’t a concern best city in the western hemisphere is Vancouver BC.
Housing cost are insane but if I win lottery I’m spending 7 months a year there.
Forgot to mention have spent my entire life in Texas so 345 days of sun ain’t an attraction.
Also if you’re cold phobic it is close to water so it doesn’t get extremely cold there.
I have 0 ideas on golf courses cause that is just a good walk ruined

Just a thought.
Maybe with your home budget cut that in half and have 2 homes/condos in different cities and you may not risk as much getting bored of a location. If (a big if) home prices stabilize or even continue to rise you sell off place you decide isn’t for you.

Never been to this part of surly. It’s kinda funny.
A couple years ago I atted someone on CR. They responded with fire and vinegar (big time conservative) about my post calling him out.
Then bitched cause he asked immac to remove his ability to post on that forum.
It is unbelievable that some people can’t help themselves.

We stayed near Granville, which was perfect for our family (kids are 16 & 12). We probably ate half of our meals by just walking around the food stands in the market. Plenty of great sushi and Japanese food in the area. The fish and chips at Go Fish was probably the best thing I ate all week. Go early.
Get everyone something from Granville and then go to Stanley park and find a picnic table. Good stuff.
Must be 10 years since I’ve been to Vancouver that wasn’t work. Need to maybe plan another trip.

Me. I was a short stop and pitcher 45 years ago. Have only lost a (million) steps since then.

Those paws tell me she will not grow much more. Haha.
That puppy stage is hardest but probably best part.

Is this another situation in which Texags told the a&m athletic department what to do?
With Olin’s article about Dabo being an assistant that did good, I think that was a hint from Trev that they couldn’t get or afford a top tier coach. IMO

They appear to think getting him would be some kind of coup.
I know it has been discussed some before but if that hire happened I would love to know how bad the ag money problems really are.
