  1. No lines.
Brisket is very good. Ribs were above avg but not as good as Hutchins.
Beans were below avg. Wanted green chile mac n cheese but didn’t have any.
Wife had bierra tacos. Ok but consommé tasted like store bought beef broth with onions and cilantro added. She loved the apple Gorgonzola slaw.

I appreciate that info!  My dad actually bought it at a yard sale about 10 years ago and I want to say he paid about $2,000 for it. Never used it.  So that $1,000-$1,500 range probably sounds about right.

Dude.  Your thinking is messed up. Unless you already 8 smoker/grill combos, tell pops you will give $500 and haul it off for him. Never know it may be exactly what you’re looking for. If not sale it for 1k and take pops out to a great bbq place.

  4. So went to the new Cane Rosso location for lunch. Never had it before.

House salad. Very avg. wouldn’t order again.
Burrata and cherries. Pretty good. Had to look up what burrata was.
Pizza. The roni. Lots of pepperoni and bacon jam. Not a huge fan cause crust was too thin. The points are like biting into a wet noodle. Sauce and pepperoni and jam very good. As you got to edge of pizza it got a little better as you had some chew (but not cracker like) in the crust.
So original score about a 7. Went to an 8 at home. Put 2 slices in air fryer and rest of pepperoni and bits of bacon in jam became more crispy than served fresh.
Next time maybe get 1 to go and reheat it air fryer.

Except for the “Good” bourbon part I’m 1000% in agreement.

Speaking of bourbon I’m in Canada this week and went to the LCBO store. No “bourbons”.

I got some Crown and gladly over paid for it to help our Canadian friends out. Fuck Trump and Musk.

I am confident that Dr. Surly opined that heavy smoking, drinking lots of good bourbon, habitual masturbation, and yelling at your TV when Burt Auburn misses another goddamned FG are solid preventative measures against Covid.

And who am I to argue with a doctor?

    I TRUST THE SCIENCE!

Except for the “Good” bourbon part I’m 1000% in agreement.

While your description sounds awesome I swear I see a road kill leg sticking out there.
