  1. Butterflies in my stomach. Let's go, Reds!!
  2. Ali, TAA, Joel, VVD, Robbo, Gini, Fabs, Keita, Mane, Salah, Bobby That should make a lot of you happy.
  3. VVD, Aguero, Sterling, Mane. That's the order and the only 4 who should even sniff the award. Hazard hasn't been nearly as good as those 4. You may be right though and they'll just select someone from a London club. Fucking Kane or some shit.
  4. 25th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death and 17th anniversary of Layne Staley's death. Seems relevant to this thread.
  5. I just call him 'That Guy that always looks like he has a dip in.'
  6. I did say Leicester winning the league was catching lightning in a bottle. I never said it was the norm. I don't think it's whining. You want your team to win. Shit, I've been an Astros fan my entire life and until about 10:50 PM on November 1, 2017, I wasn't sure we'd ever win the damn thing. In Soton's case though, most of the blame lies within the club for how they've finished the last two seasons. No one forced them to hire Pellegrino or Mark Hughes and they've certainly had plenty of cash to spread around. Poor decision making at the management level played the biggest part. That's just my opinion.
  7. Leicester City won the league just three seasons ago, so we know it's possible for the bottom 14 to catch lightning in a bottle. Burnley finished 7th last year on 54 points and until 2 seasons ago, Soton was consistently battling in the top half for European positions. This season the top 2 are both at 79 points or greater after 32 matchweeks. First time in the history of the PL that's happened. Before Tottenham's little hiccup in the league, there were 3 teams with 60 or more points after 26 matchweeks. This season isn't the norm of the last decade or so, and I don't think we should read too much into it. Having said that, if the top 6 continue to put distance between themselves and the bottom 14 clubs, the possibility of a Euro Super League increases. That's not a good thing for those outside the top 6.
  8. 10 goals and 5 assists in all comps for Coutinho. TransferMarkt has his value at $114m. It'll be interesting to see what they do get for him, if the rumors they want to sell are true. He did some good things in the red shirt, but I'm not one of those that wants him to come back. He acted a bitch when he wanted to leave.
  9. Tottenham 64 Arsenal 63 Chelsea 63 United 61 ETA: Arsenal has a game in hand. Ole took over ManU on 12/19/18. ManU were 6th in the table and 22 points behind the league leaders. ManU is currently 6th and 19 points behind the league leaders. Improvement!
  10. Hodgson sucks. There's some talent in this CP squad and he has them playing so tight and controlled.
  11. Hey! Everybody dreams, ok.
  12. Well, the opening of this stadium is certainly... um... interesting.
  13. When I decided to start playing a few years ago, my friend told me two things. 1) if you want to eventually play electric, learn on an electric and vice versa if you want to play mostly acoustic. 2) buy a guitar that feels comfortable. Strum several and don't get your heart set on one particular guitar before going. You may not like how it feels and if you don't, you won't want to learn.
  14. I did a search but didn't see a thread for this yet. The movie is supposed to be released in the fall. Looks promising.
  15. The battle for fourth is really 'hotting up.' 3. Arsenal 63 4. Tottenham 61 5. United 61 6. Chelsea 60
  16. Wolves's defense is all over the place early on in this match versus United. United already up 1-0. If Fulham loses to Watford, they are relegated.
  17. Pickford's arms were too short, so he never landed any punches. He can't be charged with assault.
  18. They remind me of LFC under Rodgers. They play some cute stuff and can look good, but they have at least one defensive mistake in them.
  19. Nice goal from Ramsey. With the kiss off the post.
  20. Where are all the gooner fans? This is a huge game.
  21. Into the Spiderverse - Really entertaining. Kept my attention. Incredibles 2 was better, IMO. Aquaman - You know what? It was actually ok. I had low expectations and I was in a great mood after one of the more successful gambling weekends I've ever had, so that probably had something to do with it. I thought it was one of the better DC movies.
  22. I don't blame him for being salty. They deserved at least a point yesterday. There's a 5 point gap between them and Burnley, and Burnley has a pretty difficult run in. Cardiff needs every point they can get. Every game needs to be a cup final.
  23. Why? Because he's pissed about the reffing decision?
