It did address it though. It was brought up by Candy several times himself and his take on it was he wasn't going to cut back even though all the doctors told him so. Reading between the lines he probably figured he was living on borrowed time since the men in his family had a history of dying of coronary issues early. And like someone else said it was probably a coping mechanism for dealing with his dad's death and thinking he was predestined anyway. He was going to live large (no pun intended) during what time he had.

Yeah, but I got a F-350 out of the deal and 2 ATVs on the trailer for mud racing! Best part is I only pay $1200 a month for the next 15 years!

Watch it. It's not what you hope for. It's very favorable for Trump. But then it only addresses the hands and ankles. They leave so many unanswered larger questions, and I imagine they leave out quite a bit of other maladies and meds he is on.

So how does this square against the prodigal son? The largest brilliance of the Bible is how vague it is. You take a stance on an issue, and someone will find one or more rebuttals from the same book. White nationalist christians love that shit. Probably going to set up some sweat shop somewhere, and traffick out the most attractive kids. Somebody's gotta fill Ghislaine's shoes until she gets back on the street.

He might be trying to fool people into thinking he has taken another one recently.

Shiny Happy People, right? -
The state party doesn't really have much control over who runs or not. If they can fill out the application and pay the filing fee, they are in. We had like a dozen candidates for Senate last time, which is hard because it takes time away from the real contenders. Allred ran again and I don't personally know anyone who is glad he did. But now a real candidate like Talarico will have to share time and a stage with Allred and all those funds on defeating Allred which depletes his resources for going against Paxton or whoever in the general election. DC and Shumer led Senate saddled us with Allred last time, and I suppose coerced him to try again. Point is the local party really has no control over who runs. DC always puts their thumb on our scales by sending funds into certain candidates or district races with very little input from Texas folks. However I think we are starting to see that change. Texas has always been one of the more progressive states and now with new leadership, we are seeing more representation in the DNC. Hopefully they will listen. No offense taken, and I understand what you are feeling. I live in one of those counties too. One of my friends is a chair in a neighboring county and once people found out he was the Dem chair, they promptly dropped a load of 6 fresh killed feral hogs in the county road right of way in front of his home. His house is about 100 ft off that road. He called the county and it took 7 weeks for a crew to come out and clear it up. It's frustrating. And the other thing is, it is expensive to run for these races. My congressional district is mainly lower middle class rural folks who don't have the money to donate much. The district is nearly 5 hours from corner to corner. If DC and others Dem PACs don't feel the race is winnable, then they won't give any funds. So these candidates are faced with 1) not really having any experience in running, 2) constant funding problems, 3) large distances to cover and meager turnout when they get there, and 4) counties who have only one Dem on the ballot, while every county seat from Judge to dogcather is a Republican. People will vote during the primaries for their friends and family, and that rolls over to the general. What we need to do is start with foiks running for the non partisan races like school boards, MUDs, city offices, etc. Then once they get established as decent capable leaders, let them run for the higher offices as Dems. That's how we build benches best.

I guess what I should have said was attack the policies of the right that have for so long sold out the middle and lower class to the financial benefit of the upper tier of wealth. That little example of when you show that a million seconds is 11.5 days vs a billion seconds is 31.7 years should be a pretty good start to get their attention to explain who the real robber barons are.

He's willing to do a virtual AMA with you guys. In person it's a bit harder, unless you go to an event he is scheduled to speak at. The last Zoom we tried we just had one person show up. But that was ok, since we were in a long running finance committee meeting, which some of you are hearing the fallout about the past couple of weeks. So we had to cancel that night. But yeah, he's willing to do that. So is Talarico. Or I can give you a schedule of where he will be in the future.

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again

Wasn't Sherman pretty good at sizing up OL talent and development? Think he'd jump at the chance to get some revenge on AnM for letting him go. And while most of this conversation is about the OL, what happened with the defensive front? Is that on coaching or talent? I agree Sark needs to let go the whole mantra of being this offensive genius. He seems to be so head strong on proving that to everyone by trotting out the same stuff over and over that I'm afraid by the time it starts working, everyone will know all his tendencies. Maybe if he brings on some new blood like y'all have suggested, he will get re-energized by working with an apprentice, lending his expertise to help develop an even better offensive scheme. He's not a bad head coach overall, but he's a better administrator and recruiter than he seems to be a game day coach. I'll hang up and listen. -
I would love to see him add in who exactly is robbing them, how, and how long it's been going on. He comes close.

1) The TDP and most of the current state candidates I have heard speak all put some combination of healthcare, education, public safety and jobs as their package but then wraps it in a "not right vs left, but top vs bottom" argument. Talarico has been using that and the whole false christian thing, which seems to be speaking to a lot of people. Maybe we need a WWJD vs WWDJT do? set of memes. This is the message the DNC needs to start pushing, working people's problems and those who are at the root of them. Inequality of wealth distribution will bring Trump down, or bring down this country, or both. We are so have been made spoiled and greedy by a society that has allowed marketing to convince us that our worth is in what we have, not what we do. All we have to do is look like we have a little bit more than a couple of our neighbors, then we are good to go. And now they used our majority religion to do that, which makes it even worse (swing back to Talarico). 2) I wanted change. I wanted Bernie to usher in the anti-Tea Party movement. I went to my first convention to carry our county's meager votes for Bernie. When that failed, I held my nose while I voted for Hillary. I did some research into Trump and tried to be unbiased, but there was just too much in his history to let me ever vote for him. But people at that time wanted wholesale changes in DC and Trump promised that. Remember 'drain the swamp?" He's doing that now, draining it of everyone who knows how a government should work and replacing them with Trump sycophants. He didn't say that last part out loud in his run up to 2016.

Maybe they will be targeting the performers and crew at the SB moreso than the ticketholders. I would think it would make more of a splash if the halftime show was cancelled or half assed because they detained enough "suspected immigrants." "Aww, that's too bad that Bad Bunny can't go on, here's Lee Greenwood and Kid Rock for the real patriots."
