  1. The only thing the affiliation does is entitle you to go to the convention as a delegate or run for/be appointed to a county or precinct chair. If you voted in the Republican primary you can't do those things. If you didn't vote in either primary you can do those things if you sign an oath of loyalty or affiliation to the party. The Republicans are trying to change that to where you actually have to be a card carrying R to vote red. Supposedly they are concerned about people cross voting to elect the worst candidates in primaries. Most people don't. Most of them start out as republican congresscritters. Not sure why the Dems are like that, unless that shit just rubs off somehow. Or more likely they keep listening to their sage political consultants. Along those lines of vunerability, I think the air traffic thing with Thanksgiving coming up would have forced the hands of the Rs moreso than SNAP. I think another week would have broke them.
  2. and these are the same people who are forcing Texas to run Allred......again.
  3. well, i called all of those senators. Not sure it will do any good, but at least I tried.
  4. PLEASE call today (Sunday) and tell them not to CAVE on the shut down. Democrats demand they stay firm. Sen. Baldwin 202-224-5663 Sen. Coons 202-224-5042 Sen. Hassan 202-224-3324 Sen. Ossify 202-224-3521 Sen. Peters 202-224-6221
  5. The signing lady doing ED at 8:30 is hilarious.
  6. Gave it all to Trump and MAGA?
  7. Personally, I'd like to see them start Caldwell even if Arch is cleared. If Caldwell gets in trouble, then yank and replace him with Arch. GIve Arch a little more time to get his head right again. If Arch is tentative in the least to use his legs, I would think that's more dangerous to him than going flat out, and will make his decision making process that much slower per play. If the defense feels he's not going to run, then they adjust and don't worry about covering him. We saw that last year with Quinn.
  8. Can't be real. No gold crosses. Godly nation, pshaw. More like goldly nation.
  9. It did address it though. It was brought up by Candy several times himself and his take on it was he wasn't going to cut back even though all the doctors told him so. Reading between the lines he probably figured he was living on borrowed time since the men in his family had a history of dying of coronary issues early. And like someone else said it was probably a coping mechanism for dealing with his dad's death and thinking he was predestined anyway. He was going to live large (no pun intended) during what time he had.
  10. This year's version of the guy who wears the orange and white overalls, the fake chain, the brown hat with toy bevo.
  11. Yeah, but I got a F-350 out of the deal and 2 ATVs on the trailer for mud racing! Best part is I only pay $1200 a month for the next 15 years!
  12. Watch it. It's not what you hope for. It's very favorable for Trump. But then it only addresses the hands and ankles. They leave so many unanswered larger questions, and I imagine they leave out quite a bit of other maladies and meds he is on.
  13. So how does this square against the prodigal son? The largest brilliance of the Bible is how vague it is. You take a stance on an issue, and someone will find one or more rebuttals from the same book. White nationalist christians love that shit. Probably going to set up some sweat shop somewhere, and traffick out the most attractive kids. Somebody's gotta fill Ghislaine's shoes until she gets back on the street.
  14. He might be trying to fool people into thinking he has taken another one recently.
