  1. I wonder what the Pelicans would give to trade Jose Alvarado for Cam. Given some of their past trades, Houston might be able to get an unprotected 2028 pick from them for it.
  2. Lobs to Clint with Harden/CP3 were some of the most exciting plays the team did during the late 2010s. I look forward to seeing more of that. This team is very deep now, and if they can flip Cam for a decent ball handler, they will be in great shape for the regular season and playoffs.
  3. It helps that Hader isn't entering tie games as much, and giving up a solo shot for the other team to walk off.
  4. I didn't realize it was this bad, but the Trump administration is using the Emergency Docket more than any administration in history, and coincidentally finding that the court agrees with them much more often via this shadow docket than in fully heard cases.
  5. And the Nuggets already have a new coach in place, so good for them! Hey New York, how's that coach search coming along?
  6. Just before Bobby Bonilla day ends in 2035, we get to begin a new tradition of Ohtani day in 2034, which will feature the Dodgers paying him 68m each year for 10 years. So we all have that to look forward to. It could start earlier than that if he chooses to retire before 2034, since he will be 39 at that point.
  7. NBA off-season is the best off-season.
  8. I have no clue what the Jazz are doing. Why would they buyout Jordan Clarkson? He had one year and $14.2 million left on his contract, that's a good trade chip at the deadline. I understand that the buyout money counts towards next year's cap, but it seems like a waste of their resources here. Nobody would give them a few 2nds and an expiring deal for him at the very least? Don't know what Ainge is doing there, seems like a lot of misplays on his part.
  9. Would have been awesome if Harden acted like he got punched in the face and flopped to the floor
  10. If he went to the Cavs and took Tristan Thompsons spot, that would be alright. And yes, the Cavs could use a veteran leader like him in the locker room, assuming it's a minimum deal. They have a great team, just need to grow a little. Next year is the year!
  11. Cam is cheap, he can easily be sent to another team for a future first or two. They will find some value for him.
  12. I think Holliday should be a minimum guy. If he can get 5m from someone else, farewell. I would much rather see them spend on a better player than worth about 11-14m a year rather than keeping Holliday. Hopefully he's the last to sign after a couple more deals to fill out the bench. KD is gonna thrive in this environment, he's never had the 2-10 support for a full season like this team will offer him.
  13. There's also an option of splitting the MLE between multiple players. Tyus Jones played for the Suns last year for like 3 million. If KD can encourage him to come to Houston, you could do that again and still have 11m to throw at someone else.
