  1. Nice find with the TE uncovered. Easy TD to probably put the game away.
  2. Just saw it, was kind of surprised how ADHD it was. It felt like a Frankenstein script with a bunch of different scripts cut up and slapped together without any thoughts of how it flows as a story. There were a lot of quick cuts to completely different locations without any transition. They would switch locations and conversation topic without any transition or establishing shots, felt really weird and disjointed. There were a lot of songs, and I honestly can't remember any of them. I will check YouTube later to figure out which one has our kids excited and dancing and report back. There was 1 they really really liked when the other lady that lives in the big clam was singing.
  3. The Yankees really need a 3b, since Jazz is not the answer there... If Soto goes to the Mets, I could see it happening. I would hate to see it though, I want him to retire an Astro.
  4. The approval of the long range missiles at this time is really odd. Why wait so long, until after the election? What's it going to accomplish, or is he looking to escalate the war to fuck with Trump? It's such an odd thing to do right now, the time to approve it was nearly 4 years ago, if you wanted Ukraine to win the war.
  5. womp womp "Left-handed starter Yusei Kikuchi is in agreement with the Los Angeles Angels on a three-year, $63 million contract, sources confirmed to ESPN on Monday. Kikuchi, 33, had a great second half to his season last year after being traded from the Toronto Blue Jays to the Houston Astros, compiling a 2.70 ERA in 10 starts."
  6. Shit, I used to win the Superbowl every season with just 8 plays in Tecmo Bowl. Sign me!
  7. Notre Dames SOS is very weak. Their best wins are A&M and Army, neither of which are playoff teams. Army has played zero good teams. If ND lost a conference championship game in 2 weeks, they could be left out, but alas they don't have the burden of a CCG and instead benefit from a cupcake schedule every year.
  8. It takes a special kind of stupid to lose a home game when your defense has 8 sacks and a TD. This offense is broken, they have to change their philosophy and learn how to be aggressive again. They play so conservative like they have a 2 TD lead all the time.
  9. The Texans guy leveled one of the kick coverage guys. Didn't even try to block.
  10. Ouch. Gonna need to put a few in the end zone if they want to win this.
  11. This game is a lot more exciting than I was expecting, but not in a good way. Should have had this put away by the 4th. Let's hope they don't fuck it up and get some more sacks on Levis.
  12. Yeah I see that, but there was 1 day rest between the SA games. A back to back in the same city with the same opponent is odd. I think it's good to cut down on traveling, but it would be a lot smarter to designate a "home week" of hosting 3-4 games, and an "Away week" of travel if they want to do that. The Spurs get to do 3 weeks of away games during their Rodeo Road trip, I'm sure other teams could plan something similar to help balance the schedule.
  13. Am I reading this right? They play against Portland twice in a row as a back to back? It's nice that it's at home, but I don't think I have ever seen that before. Just an unusual schedule choice.
  14. Because if you ask most kids, "do you want more classes" they will generally answer no. We also have a huge issue with teen pregnancy in Texas, and a lack of sex ed is a root cause of it. Besides that it's idiotic to ask kids to pick their core curriculum. Heath class is a broad subject that should be taught. This isn't an art class where you can choose your favorite instrument or form of art.
  15. Cyfair ISD 6-10th grade students were given a survey this week to ask if they wanted to take a Health class. The results, which will likely be a majority of "no", will likely be used to argue to eliminate the class. Yay democracy! It's a shame we don't have some department that sets standards for this kind of thing at a national level to ensure basic understanding of important subjects for all high school graduates. Oh well, I'm sure the Internet will teach them.
  16. It's nice to have 3 all-star caliber guards to rotate with.
  17. I remember turning on my car one day and being extremely confused by immediately being blasted with some Tejano music. Where did this come from? What happened to 101??? Twas a sad day. Stupid Clear Channel, you greedy fucking assholes.
  18. Yeah, good for you, you're close to being done. I have a kindergartener and a 3 year old in Cyfair ISD, which now has a board of 6-1 Christian Nationalists. 3 are up for reelection in 2025, so fingers crossed for a 4-3 flip 🤞 I'm not really looking forward to this, but my job keeps us in the Houston area. If the vouchers bill passes, we may have to look at private education options instead of to avoid the idiocy being forced on the 120 schools in our district. Unfortunately, most of the private schools I know about in our area are all religious based.
  19. Yeah, he's gonna be awesome as the centerpiece of the future Paul George trade!
