  1. That was a nice run, great move to the outside and hitting the corner of the end zone. Love to see it!
  2. The Yankees need a 3B too... I don't think we are gonna line where he winds up, unless he strikes out and comes back on a 1+1 deal like other Boras clients did last year.
  3. Interesting chart with ratings for each episode. The low one in season 6 was the Episode 100 clip show. The end of season 5 was a strong finish with The Fire, The Hamptons (shrinkage) and The Opposite. All very memorable episodes mostly focused on George. Just look at all that green from S3-S8, it's a hell of a run with very few misses. Really speaks to the quality of the show and why it's still so successful in syndication today.
  4. If you need one more, I'll play. If I make it an odd number you can leave me out. No hard feelings.
  5. I was at that game in the Crawford Boxes, over by the fair poll about 6 rows back. I stayed for all 6 hours of it, and it was a glorious game. Big comeback to tie it in the 9th, then 9 innings of nothing until Burke hit that homer in the bottom of the 18th. I think the Astros used every pitcher on the roster besides Pettitte and Oswalt, many pitched multiple innings. Clemens came in to pitch a few shutout innings at the end and got the W. I paid about $150 in 2005 for that ticket, which was a lot back then, and it was well worth it.
  6. I think that needs to come from the top down, it's a pretty obvious issue from a fan's perspective. I hope that Dana or someone in the org can be the adult in the room and squash this issue going forward. You also have to think it rattle's the pitcher's confidence to be put in a jam and fail to get out of it without surrendering runs. It can have a snowball effect that can take a while to overcome.
  7. Yeah, I had at least a dozen of the ones on this top 100 list: https://brickranker.com/rankings/sets. It's got to be worth a ton to the right collector. Blackbeard's ship, the Clipper, El Dorado, Black Knight Castle, Forestman Hideout, Enchanted Island, Monorail Transport Base, Monorail Transport System, Inter-Galactic Command Base... Tons and tons more, I had a whole city setup, the Aquanauts base with a bunch of ships, Western sets, the Robin Hood sets, space, pirates, etc. So many sets, it's really all I asked for as presents for Christmas and birthday for several years. I hope it's all OK up there, I haven't looked at it in many years.
  8. Watching Clase come into the game in the 8th with 2 on, knowing you fully intend on him pitching the 9th, felt very much like an Espada decision. I know it's the playoffs, but changing things up probably isn't the best idea to do to your closer who only pitched more than 1 inning one time all year. He proceeded to blow the game, but it reminded me of several instances where they did the same thing to Hader.
  9. I had this set as a kid, we got it before they made all the cannons duds, so it had 4 spring loaded cannons. It was awesome. It's in a container in my parents attic somewhere, along with probably 2-300 other sets. Need to go claim them sometime...
  10. Awesome kick there, probably could have been another 5+ yards back and still made it. Kami really bailed them out this game, that should have been a 10 point win.
  11. Well that was not good...
  12. We are paying more than league minimum for Robert Woods, instead of cutting him and saving millions this offseason...
  13. Great job defense!
  14. Poor effort by Diggs there, didn't even try to tag the guy down. I'm kinda happy he will be gone after this season, that trade seems like a huge waste of draft capital and 22 million dollars of cap space.
  15. I didn't realize the NFL allowed Big 12 refs to do their games.
  16. Well that was a shitty end to the season. I thought they would at least win 1 against the Tigers, and we would get to see Skubal vs Kikuchi tomorrow for a win or go home game. There are a lot of questions for the off-season, but if they can find a way to keep Bregman and Kikuchi, I think they could round out the roster pretty well from there and win the division again next year. They aren't sunk yet, and if Tucker doesn't get a freak injury off a foul ball, this team probably has 93+ wins and a first round bye. Anyway, that's baseball. Get em next year.
  17. Same, I have no idea why it did that.
  18. Yikes, not getting much action at all here. Need one more shutdown inning from Brown, then go to the pen.
  19. But I want it NOW!!!
  20. C'mon Pena, show us some of that 2022 magic you had...
  21. Time to do some damage, let's gooooo
  22. Not a prosecutor, and informed politician, which is what he's supposed to be. At times he looked a bit baffled or lost his place in his answer, which isn't a great look for someone who has been prepping for this for over a week. JD blamed numerous things on "Kamala's Policies" without pushback, not even a question of "which policies exactly, please explain so we can actually debate?" His job is to call that stuff out as well as explain how their policies will make things better. He he did the latter numerous times, and was good at bringing things about how to focus on the future and make things better.
  23. I love Walz, he's a good dude, and I'm happy to have him as Veep, but his inability to lob mortars back at JD tonight makes me appreciate Kamala's performance in the last debate so much more. She was a fucking sniper shooting holes in Trump's bullshit all night and destroyed him at every turn. I think Walz was mostly trying to follow a script rather than pivot on bullshit that JD spewed and call him out on his lies. He got him on a few things like the 2020 election, but there were a lot of shots fired by JD that went unanswered. Oh well, it's just a meaningless VP debate.
