  1. Can't wait to see Flynn nominated for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff...
  2. Does that mean we are going to have primaries for local School Boards???
  3. Some hilarious options for White House Press Secretary: Kari Lake, Laura Loomer, Alina Habba, Scott Jennings and Steven Cheung. Each one with an equally awful personality for it, who will only be combative with reporters every day. Can't wait to see all the other shitbirds this guy picks! The Rubio pick creates an interesting situation, because Meatball Ron gets to choose his replacement. Since Ron is on his way out as he's term limited at the Gov position, he could appoint himself to the seat and give up his current role. But he would have to run again in 2026 to secure the last 2 years of the senate term, then again in 2028 to get 6 more years, but he would probably shoot for the R nomination for President at that point. Those 2026 midterms are gonna be a shitshow for Republicans after 2 years of Trump bullshit, I anticipate a significant shift and snapback from 2024. Adding another Senate seat to the mix, even in Florida, might not be a great idea for Rs. 2018 was the year the Dems picked up 40 seats in the house, Rick Scott narrowly won his Florida seat and Ted Cruz nearly lost to Beto.
  4. If Palestinians aren't "real", and Gaza no longer exists in a year or so, where will they send them?
  5. RFK Jr is also a supporter of psychedelics, so maybe we finally get weed, shrooms and LSD decriminalized at the Federal level.
  6. Yes, but that river is now the Euphrates.
  7. The IST is upon us! Remember the In-Season Tournament from last season? Those courts that assaulted the rods and cones in your eyes, and the format the players still didn’t seem to understand until we got to single elimination? Well, it’s back, it starts Tuesday, and it has a cool new name — The NBA Cup! So, when exactly is the NBA Cup? Every Tuesday and Friday between Nov. 12 and Dec. 3 will be the NBA Cup Group Play action. You’ll know it’s an NBA Cup night by the special courts we’re seeing just for these games. To break it down completely, it’s the next four Tuesdays and the next three Fridays. Then, we’ll have the tournament portion of the NBA Cup happening Dec. 10 and 11. The NBA Cup heads to Las Vegas again on Dec. 14 with the NBA Cup championship on Dec. 17. Oh, just a reminder the NBA Cup champ gets a banner and a trophy, and each player on the roster grabs $500,000 for winning it all. And how does it work? We have six groups of five teams each. Three groups in the East. Three groups in the West. Each team will play four games within their group. The winner of each group will advance, as well as one wild card team from each conference. Tiebreakers will depend on head-to-head within group play and point differential as the first two. So, when you see teams running up the score at the end of these group play games, it’s actually what you’re supposed to do. What are the groups again? I’m so glad you asked! East A: Knicks, Nets, Magic, 76ers, Hornets East B: Bucks, Pacers, Heat, Raptors, Pistons East 😄 Celtics, Bulls, Cavaliers, Hawks, Wizards West A: Wolves, Clippers, Kings, Rockets, Blazers West B: Thunder, Suns, Lakers, Jazz, Spurs West 😄 Nuggets, Mavericks, Pelicans, Warriors, Grizzlies Rankings the NBA Cup tournament courts in 2024 from worst to 'Please delete this" https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/nba-cup-tournament-courts-ranked-2024 #1 ranked:
  8. Probably included the Astros in that Soto tweet just to trigger Yankee fans. Although, it would be extra sweet to sign him knowing they just ruined the Yankees season before it even starts.
  9. Yeah, you got it rough. Now Chet is gonna eat up and IR spot for you the rest of the season if you don't drop him. I got a few injuries too, but not as bad as you. I'm feeling pretty good about my team now. I just gotta remember to check my lineup more often. I missed starting some key guys that first week and it killed my numbers. Also have to stream a few guys each week to keep up with the little bits of extra stats here and there.
  10. Not yet... But he could issue it, let it argue over it through the courts for a few years, then let the SCOTUS deem that a Presidential Pardon counts for everything! Yay democracy!!!
  11. Welp, add him to the pardon list. Gonna be quite extensive come January 20th...
  12. So when does Hartenstein get back from injury? Should be pretty soon, right?
  13. Maybe he's secretly dating a Kardashian?
  14. Yikes, pelvic fracture confirmed. Expected to return later this season. OKLAHOMA CITY -- Thunder star Chet Holmgren left Sunday's 127-116 loss to the Golden State Warriors because of injury, and the team later announced he suffered a pelvic fracture. The Thunder detailed the injury as a right iliac wing fracture and said an update on Holmgren's status will be provided in eight to 10 weeks. The team said Holmgren is expected to return this season. Holmgren took a hard fall when he went to challenge an Andrew Wiggins drive midway through the first quarter. After a midair collision, Holmgren fell on his right side. The Thunder big man remained on the floor in apparent pain for a moment before needing help off the court and into the locker room. He didn't put any weight on his right leg as he left with 6:50 to go in the first quarter.
  15. You also shouldn't spend a timeout before they are in FG range. Make them manage the clock, don't do it for them.
  16. 1st down aaaaaaaaaand then a run for 2 yards lol...
  17. Ah yeah, that's true. Forgot about him. I'm guessing he will come of the bench for 25 minutes a game and take away from Ty Jerome and Dean Wade. That's another 3+D guy that will fit right in, or maybe become trade bait at the deadline.
  18. Ah that's so shitty they called him down on the 1. His momentum was carrying him backwards towards the end zone, should have been a touchback.
  19. No harm no foul. Texans get a Do-over from the 25 lol
  20. Well that's not good... Furk
  21. They comin for that 73 win season title! Ah, I'm just kidding, I'm sure GS and their wiley vets are probably good for a 5-8 see, I just thought they would put up more of a fight on defense. Giving up 83 points in the first half is like NBA Allstar Game level defense. The main thing for Cleveland is that Garland has really stepped up his offense from last year and appears to have finally taken that next step. They still have 2 smallish guards for starters, but they also have a stable of lanky forwards to help cover those defensive liabilities and spread out rotations to help maintain good defense. Garland's shooting splits are waaaaaaaaay up this season, and I believe he's currently in the 50/40/90 club at the moment. This is pretty much the same team as last year, but the other big differences are having a much better head coach in Atkinson, and that nobody is injured yet (knock on wood). Last year Garland had a freak facial fracture around this time and missed like 25 games. Mitchell and Allen missed like 30+ games each during the season too, so you never know when the bug will hit. Hopefully they can continue riding this hot streak to the NBA IST Championship at the very least, and get that title for shits and giggles.
  22. CJ is so good
  23. Defense has been doing work tonight, really great to see. I thought the run D would get rolled over coming into this, but they have held up well. The Lions have a top 5 run offense, and are #1 in points per game this season. Really happy to see so much resilience from that group and some good pressure on dropbacks.
  24. Wow, that was a hell of a punt and great coverage! Little victories!
