  1. What was the name of that Sovereign Citizen guy back in Shaggy who would give the minimum amount of info at a stop, roll up his window and debate the officers? That dude never got this kind of treatment. Too bad he didn't encounter cops like this, he actually deserved it.
  2. Nice win, fuck the Colts!
  3. Wow, what a catch!
  4. Taxes on people with unrealized brains?
  5. This is the most excited I have been for a Texans season since about 2012. They have a very bright future, I just hope the O-line can do their job and enable this offense to really take off.
  6. And Worthy's fist NFL touch is a 21 yard rushing touchdown! Awesome way to start your career!
  7. Wow, glad I was busy with work today. Houston baseball vs Cincinnati is the complete opposite of Houston football vs Cincy.
  8. One more detail in the Chapman deal is that he got a full no trade clause. I'm not sure how common those have been lately, but I wonder if the Astros would be open to giving that to him.
  9. Matt Chapman just got 6 years and 151m from the Giants at age 31. That should be about what Bregman is seeking next year, but I don't think this team is gonna pay it. 25m a year is a good chunk of change, so the Astros need to figure out if Whitcomb is an acceptable replacement.
  10. Gamel has been a nice surprise, but I think at the time, they were still using Cabbage and Loperfido quite a bit (until he was traded). Picking up Hayward recently on waivers was pure luck. I'm happy he's here, but that seems to be more fortune than a real plan. There were a few OFs that have been alright since the deadline. Jazz Chisholm was the best one, but the Yankees got him. Soler went to the Braves and he's been hitting well. There are others who are doing a lot better at the plate that what the collection of Chas/Jake/Dubon is doing. Chas is the easiest to upgrade, and was playing most of the games in July, yet he hit .200 and had an OPS of .547. Not great, seemed like we needed more there, and makes the Tucker info more impactful to the team.
  11. Also, if you knew Tucker had a fracture and his timetable was so far out, why not trade for an outfielder at the deadline? Seems like it's still a huge hole in the roster.
  12. A's walk it off in the 9th to beat the M's 3-2! ESPN dropped the M's playoff chances to 7.1%, 6.5 games back from the Astros.
  13. 30 HRs on the year for YORDAN!
  14. Lucky call there... thanks blue
  15. Yeah, not looking sharp there in the first. Hopefully he can regain some control and right the ship next inning, or else it's going to be a bullpen day.
  16. 2/3 seed is the ideal place to be, let the Orioles duke it out with the Yankees on the other side. The Twins/Royals may swap before the end of the season, but I wouldn't be scared of facing any of the AL Central teams.
  17. Wow, just awful field vision. That long pass on 2nd had no chance of being completed. The INT was behind the receiver on a short routine crossing route. Gonna need a new QB for the second half, and the next 11 games.
  18. I think that was Witts first hit of the series. Like 0-12 up to that point.
  19. The post game pundits are going to talk about how this was a low scoring defensive struggle, and completely gloss over how horribad these two QBs are.
  20. 12 pitch at-bat for Meyers after getting a 3-1 count. Then he gets out on weak infield hit.
  21. Well well well, how the turntables...
  22. 10 Ks for Kikuchi, dude was a hell of a pickup and may be the difference between making and missing the playoffs. Props to Dana and company, he's a hell of a lot more impactful than Bloss and Loperfido would have been. I don't know what he will cost to keep next year, but I hope they re-sign him.
