  1. Nice win, good to see more runs scored than left on base. Here's the Dubon play, I think he would have had it if it weren't for the fan.
  2. Case Closed! https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/40277006/ippei-mizuhara-ex-interpreter-shohei-ohtani-pleads-guilty
  3. If that trend continues, the D vote should be right around 48% this election. Add in the unlikability of Trump, 34 felonies, post-Dobbs enthusiasm, and a weird independent candidate that appeals to a lot of rightwing conspiracy theorists, and maybe there's a chance in 2024... If nothing else, 2028 might put Texas in play if the trend continues in 4 years. (assuming we still have elections)
  4. if you play it back starting at the 18 second mark, you can hear him say "Owwwww FUCK!"
  5. Wow, 70 million over 5 years, for 14m a year average. JJ Reddick has got to be salivating at that kind of dumb money.
  6. On the bright side, it probably won't even matter by July.
  7. I still don't understand why they let them switch to Rudy on the perimeter so easily. Feels like they need to fight through the screens more, keep Rudy in the paint and put more pressure on the ball handler.
  8. Big man on third with 1 out, gotta get him home.
  9. Sign and Trade Tobias Harris for him?
  10. Bregman for the lead!
  11. My favorite championship shirt:
  12. What makes you think he has any say in this?
  13. One of the rumors about this play was that Angel hated the idea of instant replay to overturn calls on the field, and intentionally ignored making the right call here because it was called a homer on the field. He certainly seems like the type that doesn't want to be corrected.
  14. Better guard duos: Steph/Klay obviously #1. Kobe and Derek Fisher? Probably yes Parker/Ginobli? Depends on the season, but I would say yes at their peak. Dumars/Thomas? Yes. Reggie Miller/Mark Jackson? Maybe Magic Johnson/Byron Scott? Probably MJ and John Paxon? Maybe MJ and maybe Ron Harper? Yes. Rondo/Ray Allen? Probably not It's hard to give 2 guys that are both known for playing below average defense a GOAT label.
  15. Another close call, but no damage. Whew
  16. Just turned the game on and immediately saw Abreu hit a single. Really can't believe he got a hit, and it seemed to be a fairly strong drive too.
  17. I don't think Joe has any say in this matter, I think it's coming from the owner.
  18. My wife got me a gift box of coffee from a site called BeanBox a while back. It was filled with a variety of small bags of different styles of beans from around the world. It was a really good gift, and a lot of fun to test all sorts of different coffees. I found that I enjoyed the lighter roasts quite a bit, even though I always buy medium or dark roasts for myself. Lately I haven't been too adventurous with my coffee drinking. Mostly using the Equal Exchange Breakfast Blend Medium roast from HEB. It's quick and easy, since it's already ground, and a nice consistent flavor in the morning. A nice $11 bag go-to option whenever I just want something solid, but nothing jaw dropping like a few of the ones from the gift box. I also have enjoyed several Amaya coffee bags that I get from a local shop called Catalina Coffee near downtown Houston. The problem is that when I find one I like, it's usually rotated out by the time I get back to the store to buy more. Good quality stuff for about $18-22 a bag. What coffee beans/grounds do you guys love and buy consistently? I'm looking to branch out and try something new.
  19. Kevin Love would have defended better here than Rudy. I think the Twolves need to fight harder through the screens on PnR, they swapped a lot and gave Dallas exactly who they wanted to attack many times. It was a 2 point game, letting them drive to the rim with the roller getting free would have been better than letting them shoot a 3. Would have had plenty of time to score the last shot for the win if they did make another dunk.
  20. **The Washington Wizards have entered the chat**
  21. Fun fact: every team in the AL West currently has a negative run differential! If results hold, the Astros will be the only team in the division to win today.
  22. lol, ignore obvious foul to give the ball to Dallas with 47 seconds left in the game. So dumb
  23. Oops, at least it was just a solo.
