  1. Jon Stewart returns from the sidelines after 9 years to join the "news" during an election year, and the only people who are pissed off about the content is left wingers.... "Both sides" types seem to like him, and may keep coming back to listen. Step back and let the Deep State Psyop play out slowly over the summer. Jon will have a bunch of pot smoking "libertarians" voting blue by September and change enough third party votes to turn North Carolina blue and oust Ted Cruz. Let the man cook, he knows what he's doing.
  2. Biden just has to stick around for a few years before Gavin Newsome takes over in 2028 as he handily beats a ticket of Don Junior/Sarah Huckabee for the Presidency. Kamala ain't winning that primary much less the general election, and she never should have been the VP pick to begin with.
  3. Chicago probably approaches the 93 and 94 off-seasons completely differently if MJ doesn't "retire" too. It's hard to say, but in 95 the Bulls had MJ, and his team lost to the Magic, who were swept by the Rockets. So I think 95 would have still gone about the same if he stayed. 94 is a crapshoot. I think the East would have been completely different if all the teams knew MJ was playing.
  4. AND IT'S COMPLETELY LEGAL FOR SOME REASON!!!!
  5. In S08E07 The Checks, one of the Japanese tourists that Kramer meets on the street, also played the Karate sensei in Weird Al's 1989 movie UHF! SUPPLIES!!! Another fun fact, the guy in the car known as "Farbman" is played by Dave Pierce, who was the "Transportation Coordinator" for the last few seasons. I can only assume this role would have most definitely been played by Larry David had he not left the show after season 7.
  6. Abreu is now 37, Chas is 29, and Chas had better numbers across the board. Abreu will likely regress more with age, while Chas is in his prime, and he should be better now that he doesn't have a manager actively undermining him. Either way is probably OK, but the order will need to be updated when we see Chas put up All-star numbers in the first half of the season. If he can maintain his pace from last year, he would be on track for a 30/30 season and we will see fans in the stands celebrating by throwing meatloafs on the field after every homer!
  7. I think Ohtani joining the Dodgers has caused him to reach his final form of becoming Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift combined into one person for the MLB. We will hear about every little thing he does, they want to milk that cow for all it's worth. I didn't think the "headlines" would get to be this stupid though: "Ohtani homers in his first live BP with Dodgers" It would be news if he didn't and lacked the power to hit it out of the park, but I doubt he would be at practice if he were that weak.
  8. If you go back on X and make a new account, lead with the jewish stuff before you get into the science and they probably won't ban you.
  9. Noah's problem was his delivery, he was nothing like Jon, which was the problem. Jon was the host for 15 years and the audience was used to his style, delivery and views. I think Noah had a lot of the same views, but he was so different on style that many of the older audience just didn't connect with him. He had a smiley, happy style, while Jon Stewart was more of a curmudgeon who was angry, exhausted and flabbergasted by the world. It's a stark contrast and it takes some getting used to Noah. I think a lot of fans like myself, didn't have any interest in sticking around long enough to develop the acquired taste for him.
  10. I had to rewatch the Bizarro episode again just for fun. The writers really knocked it out of the park with the gang's counterparts. Kevin as Elaine mentions, is considerate and caring, the opposite of Jerry, but he's also enthusiastic and optimistic about mundane things. The complete opposite of Jerry's schtick, which is critical and almost hateful towards everyday things and interactions. Jerry wouldn't even consider going to the Museum of Miniatures, but Kevin loved it. When Elaine yells "GET OUT!" and knocks Kevin down, both Feldman and Gene rush to his aid and make sure he's ok. When Gene says "haven't you done enough?" my mind instantly thinks of The Fire when George panicks and barrels through a room full of women, children and the elderly people without any regard for others. Feldman proposes a smart idea for a weather/alarm clock, Elaine says it's a fantastic idea, and he immediately backs down. The real Kramer would have found some random guy to take with him on the next flight to China to create the prototype. The lack of self confidence and inhibition is just perfectly displayed with a couple lines. Reggie's is of course the opposite of Monks. Kevin's apartment looks a lot like Jerry's, but reverse orientation. Kevin has a unicycle in the background, while Jerry has a bike. (I can't recall him using his bike, does he ever ride it?). The Bizarro story ends with an after credits scene when Kevin talks like an alien saying “Me so happy, me want to cry” as he embraces his friends. A perfect ending to this story. Oh, and if that wasn't enough the B, C and D storylines are George going to the model club at the old meat factory, Kramer getting a job at a law firm because he used their bathroom and walked into a meeting, and Jerry's Man-hands girlfriend. This episode hits for the cycle, top to bottom excellence. So you're gonna burn that bridge? FLAME ON!
  11. Step Up Revolution. It's a terrible movie with stupid characters, but it is absolutely hilarious to watch these completely unrealistic people come together and pull off the most insane dance sequence mobs. It's like a kid friendly version of Fast and Furious where the crazy underground car racing scenes and rivalries are replaced with spontaneous dancing. Just look at this shit:
  12. I would rather rate your paystub.
  13. KAT is the only one worth watching in this shitshow, dude really needs to be in the dunk contest. I would vote for him for MVP just because he had the most interesting shots. These guys throwing up 3s like it's practice at the gym are not interesting. They should remove the 3 point line from Allstar games, it ruins the game.
  14. What was that, 5 straight offensive rebounds for the East? Chucking 3s from everywhere. The no dribble, back and forth between Jokic and Luka? down the whole court was kind of funny.
  15. I tuned in during the 4th, I think the East should push for 200+ points and break that record finally. They are at 179 with 7 minutes left, they can do it if they want to. The game lacks any sort of intensity or urgency, which is what makes actual games so interesting. I realize the players don't have to care about this, but this is pathetic. There is no drive, no competition in them to win it. I may have been a kid in the 90s watching the greats back then play, but I don't recall it being like this. I remember MJ flying in to dunk a ball off the rim after a missed free throw. I remember people actually trying to block shots or force misses. I know it has been bad for a while, but what the hell happened??
  16. You want a piece of me?!?! I could drop you like a bag of dirt. You want a piece of me? YOU GOT IIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!! ... Well, he wrote the check, and I cashed it.
  17. Yeah well, America has killed people too, so you can't criticize the Russians for imprisoning and murdering the primary challenger to Putin...
  18. I haven't actually watched all the way through Seinfeld before. I tried getting into in college back in 2006, when I was really enjoying Curb, and I don't know how far I got, but probably fizzled out around season 5. I know there is one episode involving the Puerto Rican flag that I never saw because I was in Alabama at Space Camp when it aired. It was somehow offensive to people and wasn't re-run on TV again. No other way to watch the shows back then, so I never actually saw it, but I'm excited to see something new. I recently watched through all of Curb in prep for season 12's launch, and I noticed there are several re-used storylines from Seinfeld that appeared in Curb. - Elaine complains about someone who takes a sip of their drink and always says vocally "tssss AHHHHHH." That was used in an episode of Curb where Suzie started doing that, but Larry had to tell her to stop it. - The Car Periscope idea was mentioned in Seinfeld by Kramer as a great idea. Larry invests in one as a concept from a guy who has a homely looking wife, which Larry and Jeff thinks makes him trustworthy. - The ladies frames on George, same sort of thing happened to Larry on the season 12 opener. I'm sure there are plenty of others, but those ones stood out to me. A lot of phrases are re-used, but they work with the Curb stories, and are more like easter eggs to be noticed than something shoe-horned in somewhere they don't belong. Anyways, I'm at the beginning of Season 8 now, and just watched the Bizarro Jerry episode, which was great stuff. "Feldman and I gotta get down to the library." - nice guy from White Collar "Why?" "To read."
  19. I bet she was screaming "JESUS CHRIST" a lot and that really resonated with him.
  20. 23rd is about where I would rank him for his playoff performance too.
  21. It shouldn't be that surprising, the French are known for their use of nutmeg.
  22. Maybe Joe Espada had a dream that Singleton would hit a homerun to win the World Series, so he wants to keep him for the playoff roster?
  23. I hope there is one prime time KC game next year where the NFL works with the TV crew to repeatedly show the suite, but always have Taylor out of frame or somewhere else. It would be fun to watch the reactions and speculation.
