  1. Pfizer dose dos yesterday early afternoon. Arm soreness and mild headache last night. Woke up this morning with full body ache, elevated temperature. Add in chills starting early this afternoon. Hope this stuff passes soon.
  2. Don’t know about rescheduling with CVS. I scheduled my dose 2 for the same place in Hutto at a time that I could just hop over to Louie Mueller in Taylor for lunch after the shot. Looking forward to it!
  3. Pfizer 1 in the arm late this morning. Haven’t noticed any side effects so far. I got my dose at CVS in Hutto. Asked the guy administering the shots if there are ever leftover doses at the end of the day. He said there are almost always a few, and to just call around 5 or 5:30 if someone is interested in seeing if they have some available. Might be a good option if you’re in the area.
  4. Do Armenians count?
  5. He meant Majerus
  6. CVS in Hutto has some appointments that opened up tonight for next week.
  7. CVS in Hutto has some appointments that opened up tonight for next week.
  8. I bought one of those for my nephew as a birthday gift a year or so ago. He’s an outdoorsy kid for sure. Pretty sure he swims, fishes, hunts, plays paintball, and generally beats it to hell. But the watch is still ticking. Why not pull the trigger? I think that watch is under $20. A true value, digital classic.
  9. That wasn't close at all. Should be a quick review. Go back to your dugout, Clarke.
  10. Yeah I was just waiting for a whistle there. Stupid stupid. Thought the same thing about a T being called. It's fun to dunk over people, but GB needs stop the stare downs before he hurts the team again.
  11. Way to go, Coleman! Whew!!!
  12. Ramey. Bone-headed play.
  13. Gotta be quicker on the trigger to beat Twice. My Bambino has a black dial with baton markers/no numerals, black leather strap. The one Twice posted is pretty handsome.
  14. Since this is the affordable watches thread, how about looking at the Orient Bambino line? or Timex Marlin line? Bauhaus-style markers that are simple and elegant, IMO.
  15. Wait... did Madden do the UH shocker hand sign down after the last out?
  16. Avoiding 10-second violation?
  17. Gotta give a shout out to State Rep Hugh Shine's office (Bell County). He used his office to coordinate with Oncor to get power on for folks in the district. Yesterday a FB post instructed people with prolonged outages to contact his office rather than call or message Oncor, which was jammed with messages. My mom messaged his office, and my dad called his office and talked to Hugh himself about their outage (out for well over 100 hours). An hour later, power was restored for the all the customers along their rural road. Oncor had been reporting that their power was restored 3 days before when obviously it hadn't been. I thought that was a refreshing story of an elected official using his office to lend a hand to his constituents in this mess.
  18. Awful. This is why I keep checking on my parents. At least they can keep a fire going in the house.
  19. Water pressure is low here in 78702. Feels like 25% in most of the house. Suboptimal for bidet operation.
  20. I’m grateful for my power being restored yesterday. Can’t believe some are still without. This is very frustrating. My parents are still without. Has to be 120 hours or so for them. They’re between Temple and Troy. They and their neighbors have tried getting through to Oncor. Oncor reports their power restored as of three days ago. Oh, boy.
  21. Power kicked on in 78702 about an hour ago. Temp in the house slowly climbing from low of 49 toward 65. That was 80 plus hours without. Water pressure at about 30%. Faucets still at thin stream.
  22. According to the Austin Energy outage map in the tweet a few post above, I have power!!! (I don’t.)
  23. Just saw on FB (posted by Austin Chronicle) that Austin issued citywide boil water notice.
  24. 78702. East Austin neighborhood across from Erwin Center, near Disch-Falk. No power for 66 hours. Have maintained water, but pressure dropped this afternoon. Gas is still on. Streaming all the indoor faucets, wrapped my two outside. Helped two neighbors today who left to stay with friends turn off their water at the street. I’ll keep up the faucet streaming as long as I can. If we lose too much pressure I’ll shut my water off at the street too. Thanks for all the helpful posts in this thread. I’m feeling plenty of stress and anxiety over this whole mess, and sense the same from many of the posters here. This thread is helping get me through.
  25. Will hit two hours without power in about 8 minutes. Central East Austin.
