  1. They also have them on Amazon for 30 or 40 bucks. I like them, too.
  2. Really sorry to hear, Bear. Hang in there. I hope having him as a big part of your life helps ease things as time goes on.
  3. Mother F. Diablo was always a bright spot here with a good attitude about all his shit. He poked some fun at himself about his eyesight and seemed to take everything in stride, including his issues with booze and seemed like an absolutely genuine person. I have no doubt he'll be missed by everyone who knew him, because I'll miss him and didn't even know him.
  4. I bought one of these for 20 or 30 bucks about a year ago and put it in a doorway that's always open and that I walk past a lot. I'll randomly grab it and do a few throughout the day. It's a quick and effective way to keep things somewhat toned and get a little core workout at the same time.
  5. You can connect the audio directly from fire stick to Bluetooth headphones.
  6. Has anyone bought an adjustable frame for one of these that didn't come from the bed manufacturer? I'm thinking about getting the Cocoon Hybrid, but their adjustable is $1500. Anything I need to look for or avoid?
  7. Can't you get most games in 4K by using the respective app (Fox, ESPN, etc.) and signing in with your YTTV account?
  8. Progressive is a word that gets thrown out a lot with alcoholism. And for good reason. I used to think alcoholism was a weakness, not a disease and progressive was tolerance, not a condition. It took me a while to admit that I had a progressive disease. Not saying that's you, brother, just sharing where my mind was when hearing words like disease and progressive and alcoholism. It's great to have a new season of college football to watch sober. Never thought I'd say that.
  9. I just ordered some of these not knowing about the "ballpark pouch". They work great at keeping your package in place, but I don't know how they are any different than briefs besides looking like shorts. They are kind of nice for hard workouts when you're flying around down there. I probably won't get anymore though. But I don't wear anything unless I'm working out, so I'm no help. I just wanted to talk about the ballpark pouch.
  10. Nobody's beating you up as much as yourself, @Bash Riprock. Remember that piss and vomit floor-crawling, and how much more you like your life without that. You hate yourself for doing it and that's good. Just hate this fuck up, and not yourself overall. You ain't alone here and know you have it in you to turn it back around.
  11. Citalapram has helped me a lot over the last year. A lot of the built up anger/impatience/irritability, whatever you call it, gave way to more relaxed and reasonable responses instead of knee jerk reactions. I've tried to work on myself with that, too. I kind of feel like it's a lazy or easier or cheaper way to avoid CBT, which probably is the healthiest way. I'm in that same boat as far as talk therapy goes. I know it would be good. SSRI's can and do mess with your libido, boners and orgasms. It's a really shitty side effect.
  12. Were you picturing me as a pond over a pool type of guy? It's my girlfriend's anyway, so you might still be right.
  13. Did some day drinking yesterday. Had 15 knocked down by 2 PM. Just like old times.
  14. I started this based on this thread. This show is really good. I'm glad I started it.
  15. Are you saying, in your professional opinion, that was not a safe area?
  16. I've got 3 years now and just started my first relationship since I stopped drinking. I haven't dated in 10 years for whatever reason. Didn't need anything else with the drink. Didn't know how to let anyone in. Didn't like myself or care. Who knows. But it came on pretty hard and fast with this girl. It scares me, it scares her, but it's been great. She knows everything. She's not an addict, but she's not clueless to the nature of it, either. I'm trying to approach it cautiously, but shit I like this girl.
  17. I didn't know you shouldn't give out DOB. Am I about to get got?
  18. This is the subject I've heard people talk a lot about, when talking about things that Covid probably will change in their life going forward. Everybody seems to love the shit out of curbside pick up and never want to grocery shop again. Fewer on the other side that enjoy going to the store.

Do you always use the pax with flower or switch it up? I have the same Pax 2 and am still experimenting with vaped bud vs. a regular bowl. Do you you guys that vape bud see a big difference feeling wise? Besides the obvious smell and inhale difference. Seems like the vape doesn't make me quite as lazy as bud in a regular bowl, but that very well might be psychological
  20. I recently got a used one. Up thread a few posts. It's my first decent chair, but I'm very happy with it. I didn't realize what a difference a good chair could have. I have no problems sitting in it a lot of the day and I'm not much of a sitter.
  21. I remember when you first quit on shaggy. I was reading this thread a lot as a lurker, because I knew I needed to stop at some point and I had never looked for help. Took me a few years after you, but I echo what you and others have said; this place has been extremely helpful in my recovery too. Great work by you, bass.
  22. I'm going to start seeing a therapist of some sort, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for and there are a lot of different kinds of therapists. Mid level anxiety and depression, relationship problems, reacting problems and recovering alcoholic. I'm on citalapram now for anxiety and it helps, but I think I need to start seeing someone and I'm not sure which direction to go that would help best. Psychiatry, psychology, other types, that sort of thing.
