  1. Good thoughts your way, devil man. I dread the day I have to do that, but the way I was going, she would have been burying me which a mother should never have to do. I'm sure you've thought about it that way more than once.
  2. Still some clean up to do, but it turned out alright for being a cheap fix.
  3. Kudos, devil man. That's a long time commitment you've stuck with. I'm at 185 right now too and also am amazed at how flabby I am. Down 4 inches in waist size and 1 or 2 in shirt size, and still don't see much difference in the mirror and feel like a fat fuck. You gym folks, is there any reason for me to not just join planet fitness when all I do is stair master and stationary bike, and a couple machine weights? I did go to LA Fitness but moved and don't have one of those. Really what's bugging me with not having a gym, is I can't find anything to keep my heart rate up for a workout, which seems like there should be something low impact that would accomplish this. I can't run because it's too hard on me.
  4. Sumbitch. That's very good to know. I've only had it a month but the guide order has pissed me off from day one. Also, the Oprah channel runs a shit load of Dateline reruns. Marathons. If you like that show. Everything else on there is crap though. Maybe some 20/20's too mow that I think about it.
  5. Can we talk about bats in here? I have one flying around my place and got it locked in the spare bedroom. Not sure what to do next. They say on the WWW to open a window and it will fly out but I would prefer to know if it's gone. Dead or otherwise.
  6. I'm struggling with the man tits too. Is it an age thing, a body composition thing, a gaining and losing 40 pounds thing? Seems like nothing will firm these up even when my weight is good. I used to be able just do some push ups for a couple months and I was good. Not anymore
  7. Steve Guttenberg was born a star. Fuck you.

    High

Yeah 10 MG was a nice little high. I'd be comfortable adding another 5 or 10 as is.

Came to ask this. I'm just now getting into edibles and I'm in Illinois for the week so I will get some. But, it'smore expensive here than Colorado and I'm getting stuff from there the end of June, so I need to figure out how much to buy to last me for a monthish. I currently vape about a 1 gram cart every 3 weeks of straight from the dispensery stuff.
  10. So that's basically what happened. Got the liner in and it holds but the waterfall is going to be near impossible. So I got water and a submerged pump that's good. Just get some sort of fountain, attach it to the pump that filters and circulates the water? Any recs if that indeed would work?
  11. Problem with that, BL, those rocks were strategically placed for flow and mortared down. I'm not that invested in this project to do that and I might fuck it up. They've been in the house 25 years and haven't had it working most of the time so they don't really care. I just like the feature and want to get it going.
  12. I'm going to get this thing going again for my folks. It worked years ago, but their dog got in it and punctured the liner and they didn't really care about fixing it. The liner is ripped out and I'm going to put another one in. Where I'm not sure what to do, is attaching the liner up by the little channel and waterfall. That always worked fine. The hose and electric for a pump is all fine, but I don't know the best way to get it attached up there, where the water won't run under it. I see that there's waterfall foam for this purpose (I think), and it looks like they already had used some, but I don't know what I'm getting into there. I figured I can just drape the liner over the other pavers and put some nice rocks on top? Not entirely sure if that will work, but don't see why not. They don't need to be attached by mortar, do they? Also, since there's already concrete there that I'm putting the liner over, do I need to use an underlayment? I have some carpet I can use, but is it necessary in this case? By the way, every search for a pond on this forum is littered with Ty Webb's quote, so y'all got that going for you, which is nice.
  13. If you want to know how serious alcoholism is, an example is a man putting his knitting hobby on the alcoholic thread of shaggy with impunity from ridicule. But joking aside, that's a pretty cool hobby. I don't know if I have the patience for it. I hit 2 years a couple weeks ago and just moved from Texas back to Iowa where I'm originally from and all my family and friends still are. It feels more right than anything I've ever done in life. I've been gone 20 years, for really no other reason than I was running away to get drunk by myself. For 2 decades. But it's always been home here. I've just always done things the hard way. But I made it back and feel like I'm just starting life at 43 and I feel good about that. I finally love myself and realize how much the people in my life care, and always have. I just didn't know how to see it. @hullabelew I've had a different experience than @SwanderedTalent with year 2 compared to year 1. Obviously it's an ever changing journey and everyone is different, but to me, year 2 is really when I started gaining confidence that life really can be this good forever without the bottle. Not because I missed drinking and simply thought I could get by without it, but because everything was better without it. Significantly. Once I realized it wasn't a temporary state of happiness and contentment and that this feeling is real for as long as I want it, I realized I had made life difficult. LIfe didn't do anything to me.
  14. May have missed this posted. Previous video of an encounter with police. I don't know how to embed these. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ahmaud-arbery-video-officer-trying-taser-2017/#app
  15. I liked Safe. Definitely would say worth the watch.
  16. Been doing a lot of rucking since the gym closed. Up to about 35 pounds in the backpack for 6 miles. Good workout and gets me outside. Been eating like a fat fuck though, so it's kind of a wash.
  17. Do you recommend laser after the age of 40? Seems like some do, some don't.
  18. After having YTTV for a coule weeks, I like it a lot, but a couple other complaints are; no previous channel function and when you go back to the guide, it takes you to the first set of channels instead of the channel you're currently on. Is that a Firestick deal or a YTTV deal?
  19. You might be right. There are a few fox that hang out around there. I'll snap a pic tomorrow of the side view.
  20. I can't help with Firesticks, but I use YTTV with an NVIDIA Shield and it doesn't turn off...I don't think. It will go to a screen saver afer a period of time if you pause YTTV, but it will keep rolling if YTTV is playing. Really? Everything I have read says it's a function of YTTV and can't be disabled. Also, why is my reply all of a sudden quoting both posts? The corona has me flustered.
