Just got off a long call with a good friend in Ukraine.
They provide evacuation support for injured civilians and military. Due to their work with military they are going to lose part (a large part) of their funding. If anyone has tree fiddy take a look. Here is their mission statement. I vouch for his group. Fuckers go into harms way around the world. Met them first in Afghanistan.
MOAS has been present in Ukraine since February of 2022 and currently supports over 150 medics and drivers in the field and maintains 52 ambulances in our fleet, MOAS is an established and reputable humanitarian NGO looking for partners to support a high-impact, innovative and situationally unique program that has saved over 78,000 Ukrainian soldiers and treated 30,000 civilians to date.
The changing geopolitical environment, uncertainty around the possibility of conflict resolution and MOAS’ dedication to providing services to both civilians and military personnel have all contributed to an increasingly challenging and restricted funding landscape for MOAS. As a niche, unique and specialized service provider, the cessation of operations would undoubtedly leave a significant a critical gap in the health pipeline in Ukraine, leading to increased mortality for those in desperate need of care.
