  1. Now all the lawyers and youth will be protesting.
  2. Getting sloppy and here comes the crowd.
  3. No, this is internal. The mayor was not disliked, etc. He was a straight rival. Turks don't rebel much, but when they do, look out for their military.
  4. Turks are restless.
  5. Bukele is basically a dictator. Just does not dress like one, surfs and loves bitcoin.
  6. Careful death duck.
  7. Yep. Think about it. We all get a Tesla with a laid off government worker who has to be in it (since FSD does not work) and bam. Fuck you Amtrak.
  8. My point was the strain is really going down into the market like people did not think would happen. I am waiting on the support personnel to get laid off. If there are 1/3 cuts in DOD, well that is 1/3 less meals being bought. BRACS which were never of this magnitude killed communities. We are going to see it again. Plus industries. But yeah, we don't have enough coders, so H-1B visas for all.
  9. My wife was shortlisted for a National Parks gig. We were ready to go. Now, State of Texas? Nope, she gets to compete with the thousands of experts laid off. We as a state produce a surplus of wildlife people. Unless you are into hunting and game management the laid off feds have all the experience. So she works part time at a refuge here in Central Texas. Strain from all sides is real for many Americans.
  10. Nah, that is just Port Au Prince chic.
  11. Bring on Dengue. Yo Florida..... CDC here. Ongoing Risk of Dengue Virus Infections and Updated Testing Recommendations in the United States Summary The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is issuing this Health Alert Network (HAN) Health Update to provide additional information to healthcare providers, public health departments, and the public about the ongoing risk of dengue virus (DENV) infections and updates to testing recommendations in the United States. Dengue activity remains high in some parts of the United States and globally, with many countries reporting higher-than-usual number of dengue cases in 2024 and 2025. Healthcare providers, public health departments, and the public are urged to continue to take steps to prevent, detect, diagnose, and respond to dengue as described in the June 2024 HAN Health Advisory (CDCHAN-00511) on dengue in the United States. Updates include: Dengue virus transmission remains high in the Americas region, including in the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Spring and summer travel coincide with the peak season for dengue in many countries, increasing the risk of both travel-associated and locally acquired cases in the United States. Use the CDC DENV-1-4 real time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay when dengue is the most likely diagnosis. New resources are available for public health professionals including a job aid for reviewing medical records and guidance for investigating and responding to dengue cases in non-endemic areas of the United States. Background Dengue is caused by four distinct but closely related dengue viruses or serotypes (DENV-1, -2, -3, and -4). Infection with one DENV usually induces lifelong immunity to that serotype and short-term immunity to other DENV serotypes for months to years. Repeat infections with different serotypes can occur, particularly in DENV endemic areas. Approximately one in four DENV infections are symptomatic. Infection with any DENV serotype can cause severe illness, particularly in infants aged ≤1 year, pregnant women, adults aged ≥65 years, people with certain medical conditions, and people with previous DENV infections. Daily mail for those who like hotties on the side images. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-14515015/cdc-urgent-warning-illness-nose-bleeds.html Spring breakers are being warned over a fast-spreading disease that could be life-threatening. In an emergency notice, the CDC raised the alarm over dengue fever — saying the US and Americas region is seeing high transmission, with nearly 1,000 cases reported across 21 states already this year. A record number of infected travelers - nearly 4,000 - returned to the US in 2024. And just as the spring travel season kicks off, popular destinations like the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Mexico, are experiencing high transmission of the illness, with Mexico recording 20,000 cases already this year.

  16. OK, this is fucked up. Musk-hating hackers release names and addresses of every Tesla owner in the US with chilling symbol https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14513669/Musk-hating-hackers-release-names-addresses-Tesla-owner-US-chilling-symbol.html
  17. They are back. Cool. I don't have to listen to it anymore. Meanwhile, yep, Elon did it all. No other smart people worked on this program. Nope, just Elon
  18. A big ass river. providing a lot of the drinking water for about a million people during a real bad drought. The collapse allowed some 50 million liters of waste containing concentrated acid, dissolved solids and heavy metals to flow into a stream that links to the Kafue River, Zambia’s most important waterway, the engineering institution said. About 60% of Zambia’s 20 million people live in the Kafue River basin and depend on it in some way as a source of fishing, irrigation for agriculture and water for industry. The river supplies drinking water to about five million people, including in the capital, Lusaka. The acid leak at the mine caused a complete shutdown of the water supply to the nearby city of Kitwe, home to an estimated 700,000 people. https://apnews.com/article/mining-pollution-china-zambia-environment-93ee91d1156471aaf9a7ebd6f51333c1
  19. After COVID, Texas is less prepared for the next pandemic Five years after Texas’ first COVID death, the state spends less on public health, vaccination rates have dropped and a distrust of authority has taken hold. https://www.texastribune.org/2025/03/18/texas-covid-pandemic-readiness/?utm_source=newsshowcase&utm_medium=gnews&utm_campaign=CDAqDggAKgYICjDbxzcwrOoHMIXD-AE&utm_content=rundown
  20. Agree. Trump is not Orban. Watch for the Iron Legion.
  21. So if we protest what surly legals are going to support? Full legal backing. Dropping a sign supporting Ukraine. If I get in trouble who stands up? I can make a group. I want layers Or just talk? A banner over UT saying Somos.
