  1. You can have a property interest in a lease for purposes of inverse condemnation. I wonder if they've thought through that aspect.
  2. FYI - $60 pound Japanese A5 ribeyes at the Bunker Hill Costco in Houston.
  3. Not exactly in topic but Bunker Hill Costco in Houston has Japanese A5 ribeyes for $60/pound. Not sure if they have it at others. We got a smaller prime rib this year and added on 5 pounds of ribeyes.

    Hello? How was the PA?

How did that go, exactly? Twilight sedation?

You motherfuckers need to exercise more and eat less crap instead of snorting vinegar.

Have the MAGA loonies started the “it was rigged” campaign yet for any of these high profile races yet?
  8. So we’re at the “new coordinator will fix it” stage of grief? Bad news - it doesn’t get better from here.
  9. This is thinking outside the box. This is why huge corporations pay thousands of dollars to consultants.
  10. I was there. A lot of kids and families tore ass to the parking lot. The kids on the field with the coach spent twenty minutes or so huddled against the three foot brick infield fence waiting for law enforcement. Some of the remaining parents were standing around. There weren’t any shots after the first rounds.
  11. Those guys are total dipshits. Luckily the coach that was hit is going to be fine. He was in a prayer circle on adjacent field when he was hit.
  12. I didn't hear any shots on Saturday at the Rac but someone said its pretty common. The team was in a pregame prayer circle on the first base line when the coach was shot. That bullet whizzed in a few feet from ten kids, including mine. My wife hates guns and is fuming.
  13. There was a medic there who treated the coach waiting for paramedics. He was strapped but it was a pea shooter.
  14. Here’s a new one for you all. Our coach was shot at the Rac in Katy this weekend.
  15. Anybody happen to be riding the Waco Wild West 100 this weekend?
  16. I'm very similar. I was a near-daily drinker for ten plus years and quit 2.5-3 years ago. I thought I was an alky and went to my normal doctor and an addiction doctor. The first few weeks sucked but I didn't have physical withdrawals. I completely abstained for about 18 months. The first time I had any alcohol after felt like a huge event at the time but there wasn't much to it. Your brain has time to reset after 1.5 years sober and it turns out I didn't like alcohol nearly as much as I did before. It feels kind of like a cheap high. I know I'll never have a normal relationship with alcohol - my addiction doc told me I'm in the 15% of people who have big biochemical reaction to alcohol; this may be related to my ADHD. Counterintuitively, drinking a wee bit has been a positive, at least so far as it's taken the mystique and romance away from a good drinking session.
  17. What the fuck is all this fucking shit? Do the fucking touchdown play already.

Who is playing Clear Springs this weekend?

I'm going on 8 plus years since being diagnosed with a stage 3 colorectal adenocarcinoma and just got a clean results from a colonoscopy and biopsy. MDAnderson doesn't need to see me for another five years. I remember those days of being wiped out from chemo and having chemo delayed due to low WBC. You all in treatment keep fighting and always ask for ativan in your infusion if available.
  20. It also struck me as odd that they used a tub of goo as their hand model.

I had mine yesterday and it looked clear. I woke up from my first one in 2016 to a worried-looking young doctor telling me I needed to go directly to imaging. Been cancer-free for eight years now. There's a biopsy of the surgical site pending but if that comes back clean I'm on the five year plan.

I went into resection with the doc telling my I was 50/50 on getting a temp. I interpreted that as I wasn’t getting one and I was wrong. Nobody likes ileos but some people hate them worse than others. I hated it. Only had it two months but worrying about and dealing with that thing day-to-day fucking sucked. Hated it.

He is. They won the silver bracket. He was the one who looked like he could be the son of Adonis.
