  1. I have it on good authority you get the same treatment for stage 3 colon as well. And the docs take one look at colon cancer in a scope before surgery and go, "yup, that's probably cancer." So probably not colorectal.
  2. Not a fan of due process? Maybe Brazil would fit you better.
  3. I think I'm starting to come around on this theory of everything.
  4. Pffffttt, Thursdays are for half marathons early in the morning.
  5. I quit drinking and lost about 50 pounds. I knew I would lose some weight but I went from fat to almost high school.
  6. I’m sending a prayer to the little league gods that we get knocked down a bracket today. We need to drop six spots to get in silver, get a bye and play close by at 11 or 1:00. If we don’t, it’s a 40 mile drive and early game. And per usual we’ll find out probably around 10-10:30 tonight.
  7. Elon's free speech machine banned me for "harassment" for reminding MTG that she might not want to be lecturing women on Christian values seeing how she was fucking her trainer while married.
  8. Scanxiety sucks ass and there ain't nothing you can do about it unless you want to pop xanax like candy. But it's a hell of a day when you get a good report - in my case the glory words were "no evidence of metastatic disease." Good luck!
  9. An ileostomy should give her motivation, even for a teenager. I've had one* and was extremely motivated to get rid of it. Hope she does well. * ileo and teenager
  10. Well congrats, nothing like seeing your long lost buddy, the number one, leading off on the scale.
  11. Sorry to just butt into your business but my wife has Crohn’s and fought it like a Mfer from age 20 to about 35. She ended up with 2 resections, Remicade and all that and was still flaring up. She ended up controlling it with diet. She popped up allergic to all sorts of common food - gluten, dairy, etc. She cut that out and has been pretty good ever since. No more drugs or flare ups.
  12. They’re awesome! I wasn’t expecting much out of mine but it tracks all the metrics I keep track of and dozens I don’t. After only about six months I consider it a necessary part of keeping fit. Only downside I’ve seen is some of the metrics are crap. The default heart rate zones aren’t accurate and differential heart beat is off, just off the top of my head.
  13. I did that for years and years. You know this, but it s a fucking huuuuuuuge weight off once you get those sorted, or at least controlled.
  14. Shirley there must be a fair number of slobs around here who manage to run a bit between hangovers and meat comas. What you got? Anyone running Houston tomorrow?
  15. Started last year at 232 and weigh 163 today. Goal is to stay below 170. Running my first marathon in two weeks. Unfortunately the number one driver on my weight loss - about 75% - is no alcohol. For me, it’s drink and be fat or no drinks and rum and be skinny. Not much in between.
  16. Well that doesn't look fucking good, now does it! Dumbasses.
  17. You can thank me; I contributed to the new recommendation.
  18. No way, that has to be a troll. It simply can't just keep on getting better and better...gotta level off at some point. They hired some fat asshole Mack Brown shitcanned a couple of years ago. Nobody's heard of him.
  19. It would appear you have astute grasp of the situation. They really did all that dumb shit.
  20. I have a funny image in my head of those aggy recruiting doofuses sitting in a conference room trying to figure out how to turd shine all these shit school transfers.
  21. I hit 159 this weekend at the tail end of a marathon training block, but I'm back up to 163 now that I'm rehydrated. This was after being about 230 this time last year. No alcohol plus running equals negative 70 pounds. I am also gong to have to start lifting more. The first fifty pounds almost melted away on their own with zero booze and the ensuing poor eating choices. The last twenty were largely unnecessary and resulted from going from sedentary to 20-mile runs.
  22. So why don't we blow these assholes up?
  23. I guess not stupid but my wife is usually pretty far on the prom-and-proper side. We just moved and out 15 year old was looking through our previous houses on HAR. He talked some shit about our first house, a 1,200 square foot bungalow in the Houston Heights (shoulda held on to that one). Wife told him not to talk bad about it as he was conceived there. Teenager was not impressed even though that’s what got him here I’m the first place.
  24. Are you a fucking mute or what? Use your words.
