  1. No, you are supposed to stand up on a table and present your paystub to the entire restaurant (assuming you didn’t drive a 2003 corvette to said establishment.
  2. Had to run over to Austin today and dropped into L & L for lunch. Feels like it’s been a long time. I don’t get a chance to eat there on weekends so this was my first time trying their brisket despite having eaten there a dozen times. Brisket was delicious as expected, but I think their beef cheeks are the star.
  3. I’m a couple of minutes behind it seems. Might to switch it up.
  4. Lawnmower man forgot to put his hands up.
  5. Liking this Tiara kid. Very smooth grappling.
  6. Time travel is more likely than sky daddy toy box that melts faces (if your eyes are open). However, order of movies is: 1, 3, 2, 5, 4
  7. Looking for something that may not be so obvious. Not saying it’s not a good suggestion, but maybe there are some less known books out there. Perhaps. But there is no denying his life was pretty wild by most standards.
  8. I was about to ask reddit, but I figured I would check with Surly first. I’m looking for books of globetrotting debauchery. The other day I was reading about Hemingway’s life and how he bounced around different places as a writer, adventurer and drunk. Non fiction is preferred but well done fiction is ok. Looking for books in the era of the 1920’s through the 1960’s about people who drop out and travel, experience other cultures, drugs, sex, etc. Several years ago I read “Page After Page” by vietnam photographer Tim Page, which I really enjoyed. Also doing a bit of research, perhaps “The Drifters” or “A Sport and a Pastime” might be in the realm of what I am looking for. But have yet to read them. I am fascinated by the Tangier Interzone and people traveling to the far east in search of whatever. Throw in some sex and drugs and I am all in. Surly book dorks, give me some suggestions!
  9. Lulz at anyone thinking time travel is anymore fantasy and unrealistic than the ark melting faces. Give me a break.
  10. This. Never understood why anyone would use their work computers for anything other than work. Hell, I won’t even use my work wifi with my personal phone.
  11. It’s me, Patricio Swayze, everyone knows I do.
  12. Kneel before Zod! I have 244. Now at an astounding 2.9% of my IG.
  13. I haven’t had bbq in 3 weeks so I dropped into Brisket&Rice for my fix. It was about 11:20 and the line was to the door (it’s a small joint so maybe 12 deep) and 3/4’s of the tables were taken. The line never let up the entire time I was there and people were taking food to go and waiting for tables to open up. I am stoked they are getting the attention they deserve. My lunch was perfection. Wouldn’t have changed a thing about the brisket or sausage.
  14. So to follow up on this and Celery’s suggestions for anyone else navigating this issue: It’s actually much simpler than suggested, if you had an alt IG account already. Simply log out of threads, it then prompts you if you would like to log back in or switch accounts. Click switch accounts and choose your alt account. No need to log out of IG.
  15. That would be really dumb if one couldn’t.
  16. Dude, I like you, but you don’t seem to be following. I know that it’s a replacement for Twitter. I explained how I used Twitter. What I was saying is because threads is being easily launched via IG, I think that many people are struggling with redundancy. That’s all.
