  1. His current talent is all-NBA level. That is a max contract player all day, everyday. If you want to say he can afford to take less, ok. The Lakers can also afford to pay him. They've made plenty of money because he is there and their franchise value has grown significantly since he got there.
  2. Is Heild a done deal?
  3. Yeah Boston got some CC voter love.
  4. This Aces/Fever game is good so far. Both teams really getting up and down the court. Something you see on teams with an elite passer, CC's passing is starting to rub off on her teammates. They are trying passes that I dont think they would normally try. 7 assists on 9 Fever buckets in the first quarter.
  5. Yeah I wasnt sure if it was all fan voting but if so, that would explain it. I thought they did a combo of fans/coaches like the NBA does EDIT: 50% of WNBA All-Star votes are made up by fan votes, while players and media members make up 25% each. https://www.cbssports.com/wnba/news/2024-wnba-all-star-game-roster-reveal-how-to-watch-start-time-tv-channel-live-stream/ That's telling me Fever/CC fans were stuffing the shit out of ballots to get both Mitchell and Boston and overcome coach/player voting.
  6. Both Angel and Caitlin make the All-star game. They will play against the Olympic team. I'm really surprised the Fever get 3. And the 3rd Sun being Jones is a little bit of a surprise. I thought Carrington might have a chance to sneak in there.
  7. This type of thing is exactly why they are selling the Celtics. You will eventually be seen as the villain no matter how much you do and how much you win. https://www.sfgate.com/warriors/article/warriors-joe-lacob-completely-broken-column-19550181.php?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=sfgate
  8. Buttcrack isnt a reliable source but there were multiple other outlets reporting it and his family (or at least someone who was supposed to be family) was tweeting about it.
  9. You all just see what you wanna see anyway. What's the point?
  10. I didnt say she needed to do more. I've said multiple times her 2nd statement was more than adequate. But again (third time I'm saying this) it was her 2nd statement AFTER Carrington and others pointed out the problem with her first.
  11. Again, nothing. But it came AFTER Carrington pointed out how her first statement wasnt denouncing it. Some called Carrington's tweet an "attack" (it wasnt) but it got the point to either CC or the people who help guide her in media relations because her next statement was that she didnt want her name used to justify hate.
  12. It was her first public comments on the subject. I get her original point. She didnt want to be involved. She just wants to play ball. That's really not reality. When your name and face are used to justify a whole lot hate you cant really sit it out.
  13. Fever moving up!
  14. She's borderline for me. Her team being #1 in conference might be enough to get her over the top. She should probably be a finalist for MIP but Dearica Hamby pretty much has that sewn up barring injury over the 2nd half of the season. Carrington should definitely get some all-defense consideration though
  15. After the response from Carrington. Her first statement was a lot more neutral. It sucks that someone has to come out and specifically state that they do not condone negative shit but thats not just her. Everyone faces that nowadays in the world.
  16. Done deal, they get 2 second rounders for one the best players in their team history
  17. Yep, he can be the owner that got them back to the mountaintop and some other sucker can be the one blamed for breaking up the team.
  18. Cashing out after finally getting them another title
