  1. yeah, he had one good yr basically and managed to turn that into a fucking fortune. He's the American dream LOL
  2. Then they should let him go. Sounds like the same crap they used to say about Rodney Stuckey and Amir Johnson. They held both way too long and both proved that they were not difference makers
  3. Agree with most of this except the Beef Stew stuff. He's barely a rotational player IMO. Whenever a team hires a new exec they invariably want to bring in their own coach. With all of the money and years left on the deal not many thought they would pull the cord and dump Monty though. While I'm not saying Monty did a good job, the org as a whole hasnt been trying to win for a few yrs now. Making him a fall guy for organizational ineptitude is funny but at least he got 75M for 1 yr of work to go along with the 25M PHX paid him to go away last yr. They are eating very well at the Williams house.
  4. Wonder who will replace Brink on the 3x3 team.
  5. Unfortunately...... Sparks rookie forward Cameron Brink suffers torn ACL https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/id/40387794/sparks-rookie-forward-cameron-brink-suffers-torn-acl
  6. The replies to this are sickening.
  7. For sure, Brink, Reese, CC, Rickea Jackson and Aaliyah Edwards make one helluva all-rookie first team with Kate Martin as a 6th person
  8. Great game last night with the Mercury and Liberty. Teams combined for 33 3ps Tarausi with 19/9/5
  9. She should be able to get the Aces going again.
  10. They are in most instances. I dont think anyone has said it shouldn't have been a flagrant
  11. This is what her "special whistle" comment was about.
  12. Can you point one anti-CC post? Just one. Where have I said anything but she is very good and will probably be great?
  13. Clearly plenty do. My bad I thought yall wanted to talk facts. I aint related to you but ya mom calls me Daddy.
  14. Which is true. There are plenty of people watching for her as well as many others. She also went on to say..... "Like, it’s just not ’cause of one person. A lot of us have done so much for this game. There are so many great players in this league that deserved this for a really long time”
  15. She's neither.
  16. yeah alright then
  17. Some of yall cant see anything without a CC bias. Reese's teammates LOVE her. They loved her at Maryland. They loved her at LSU. Her energy and effort on the court is absolutely something that teammates will always love. Having someone that will battle non-stop on the court and stand up for herself and her teammates off it is always going to endear someone to their teammates.
  18. Players do it all the time to draw fouls. She was getting fouled on the reach and just locked on to the defenders arm. I wont call it dirty but it could be dangerous locking on to someone's arm like that. That said, if you watch whenever CC dribbles with a defender near her she basically stiff arms to keep the defender from taking the ball. Its a reason for some of the dustups that she gets into. Constant pushoffs never being called offensive fouls will eventually result in defenders just grabbing her and having words.
  19. Aaliyah*
  20. well.......... https://athlonsports.com/wnba/disturbing-story-about-caitlin-clarks-treatment-of-iowa-teammates-surfaces To be fair, this is just written off as competitiveness when its a guy doing. Kobe, MJ, etc all were assholes to teammates at various points in their careers.
  21. Not if you think she could play in a mens league.
  22. Constant examples where it was called a 1. Most worse than the foul today. This one from last week was pretty intentional. Elbow right to the side of the face. Had both hands on the ball and making a post move so you could kinda call it a basketball play. Still a 1
  23. By the letter of the rule it isnt. Its most of the time the deciding factor in going from a 1 to a 2. Action before and after are almost always taken into consideration. Also if its not really a basketball play. The play by Reese was indeed a basketball play she was trying to get the block, CC moved the ball out farther in front and Reese got her in the head. It happens often on that type of block from behind/overhead.
