They played their first game against Japan today. A team who's tallest player is 6'1. As expected they beat them by 30+ though it was closer than that for most of the game. Japan was really hitting from outside which kept it close early.
I thought Canada was going to be one of the main comp for the US but they are getting popped by France right now. Down 20 at the half
Who is hating her? There are still plenty that want her on the Olympic team which would commit her to playing for another month but asking why she couldnt do a single day event is hating?

Should be pretty good but definitely disappointed in Sabrina and Caitlin opting out.
Coach shouldnt have said a word. Just tapped the seat next to him. I dont give a fuck if you were the #2 pick. You're sitting your ass down for a while after some shit like that
Yep, and used her performance there to get the contest with Steph. I'm pretty positive that they both turned it down. The league definitely makes questionable decisions at time but there is no way the league would prevent them from being in it if they wanted to do it.
She just needs team success to get to MVP level. Her play is already there. But I agree. I noted that in the other thread, the TOs aren't a huge deal most of the game because her play is overcoming them for the most part but she still makes poor decisions in crunch time. They are generally plays where she is trying to do too much. Those are the ones that she has to address to start winning close games on a consistent basis.
